Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 387

387 Monday, the day for the first lesson begins

Later, after returning to their bedroom, Ester, Lupa, and Lilith explained what they said to Jun Ye Rim and how they tried to help her.

It wasn’t easy at first, but after Ester decided to say something about her past, Jun Ye Rim appeared a bit interested as she moved her gaze on Ester.

Lupa and Lilith also decide to reveal something about their past. Both painted Vincent like a hero and a savior in their stories.

However, Jun Ye Rim didn’t respond. She nodded or shook her head slightly and averted her gaze most of the time.

Regardless of her actions, Jun Ye Rim didn’t have the expression of hate or fear at least. It felt more of a bothered expression to be left alone.

Plow wanted some attention, so she deiced to say, “Plow want to tell story too. Please listen to Plow.” *Pho*

Plow made a cute smug expression when everyone looked at her. She wagged her tails and said proudly, “I told pointy ears how Vincent is the best bed. Best beds are always good.” *Pho*

Vincent sighed and facepalmed after hearing Plow talking while expecting praise. Ester, Lupa, Kazumi, Iris, and Lilith laughed at how embarrassing it was.

“Plow is not funny.” *Pho* Plow puffed her cheeks and went to hide under the thin bedsheets. “Plow is unhappy.”

.....

After the matter with Jun Ye Rim was settled with a laugh from Plow, Lilith suddenly remembered how she found what appeared to be a clock in each luxurious room’s nightstand.

Small items such as stools and nightstands were moved by hand. Thus, Vincent couldn’t discover them without opening each compartment. Lilith found the clock by luck after she wanted to find a place to store her glasses while she was asleep.

The clocks were made out of twenty-four light gemstones split between two rows. The first row of twelve was already lit, while the bottom row had nine lit. Vincent looked at his watch, and it was nine twenty in the afternoon.

Vincent and Kazumi were happy to see a clock that could tell them the hours. Both hoped Sakura would reach this level of Rune Crafting level and fix his smartphone.

The thought of using his smartphone to take pictures was one of Vincent’s goals.

It was late, and Vincent had to wake up early. They decided to call it a day, and all of them soon went to sleep.

Kazumi was curious about what Jun Ye Rim is currently doing. Her traveling distance limit was enough to visit her bedroom, and so, her curiosity couldn’t be satiated with a simple peek.

Kazumi left the bedroom and went to take a peek at Jun Ye Rim’s bedroom.

[The troublesome elf is sleeping, and her snake isn’t coming after me anymore. I guess Vincent gave it a good scare, hehe.]

[Ahem, regardless of what happened between us, it is good to see that this troublesome elf has stopped from doing something that I didn’t expect to see.]

[Sakura wanted to die as a pureblooded demon, but in the end, she chose to live a new life as Vincent’s wife instead of choosing death. Well, not that she had a place to return to. Her brother’s wife sold her after all.]

[But at least this elf doesn’t look like a bad one.]

The curious Kazumi took one more glance at Jun Ye Rim and went to peek at the other bedrooms. No one had privacy with the curious Kazumi around.

After Kazumi saw that everyone was sleeping, she returned back to spend her time playing with Wolfie and Freerie and resting together with them.

*Day 84 – 01 September – Monday*

A new morning dawned, and Vincent woke up early to prepare for class. He looked at the time, and he was one hour and a half earlier till Biro’s lesson started.

Vincent wore light clothes and a towel hung by his neck. When he reached the door, Lupa asked him to wait for her.

Lupa swiftly wore her usual light white dress and eagerly followed him. Plow jumped down from the bed and her eyes beamed with the desire to join them.

“Anyone else wants to join me for a morning jog?” Vincent asked.

Ester looked at Lilith. She shook her head and said, “Not today. Lilith appears to have cramps on her legs after she ran yesterday.”

“I will stay here too. I will treat Lilith so that she can walk in the afternoon class.” Iris said.

Lilith felt glad to have people care about her, but she averted her gaze and said, “Sorry...” Lilith couldn’t move without feeling sore, and the feeling of guilt troubled her.

[Well, Lilith needs time to adapt to an active lifestyle.]

-Yeah. It was difficult for me too at first. I suffered from soreness when I was pulling the cart with the sick Ester and Lupa keeping her warm.-

“Don’t worry Lilith. We can exercise another time.” Vincent said. He raised his hand and continued, “Let’s roll out.”

Vincent, Lupa, and Plow went outside. When they started to stretch their bodies, Nick and Vivid appeared. After greeting each other, the five of them jogged around the mansion. Well, Plow had to run with her small body and tiny feet.

“Plow... need rest...” *Pho* Plow became tired after running about half the course around the mansion. She stopped and lay on the ground.

Vincent lifted Plow and carried her. “Don’t frown, my cute little fox. One day you will grow strong.” He said to comfort Plow.

Plow felt better after hearing this. However, the competitive wolf girl couldn’t keep her mouth shut. “I will become stronger because I am a white wolf, hehe.”

The pleasant expression on Plow’s face soon turned sour. She frowned and puffed her cheeks, but Plow felt like she couldn’t tell Lupa a comeback.

‘Plow will secretly train very, very hard. Bad wolf will not be able to beat Plow one day.’ Plow pondered while frowning at Lupa. She had a new goal in the vast forest-like environment of the island.

Vincent sighed and kept jogging. As long as it was a harmless rival-like interaction, he didn’t mind. It was entertaining to see the two of them try to do better than the other. Sometimes they provided a good laugh.

Later, after a good jog, cleaning his body, wearing his clothes, and waiting in the living room, Vincent was ready to leave.

Jun Ye Rim, Clair, and Pussy didn’t show up. They were still in their bedrooms.

Went the time to leave arrived, Nick and Vincent went outside. Ester, Lupa, Iris, Plow, and Vivid followed to see them leave. Lilith remained on her bed with a pair of sore legs.

“We will be going to the academy. See you girls later.” Vincent said.

“Oh, I almost forgot.” Vincent was about to leave with Nick when he remembered where he was going to wait for Lilith. “Can one of you girls remind Lilith to meet me in our classroom? I don’t know where we will be sent, so I chose a familiar place. I already told Lilith, but she might forget after feeling anxious.”

“There is no need to worry, my friend. ” Nick said. His father had informed him about some of the teleportation features.

“There is a large hall at the northmost building in the academy. It is called the Arrivals Hall. Everyone is sent there, students, teachers, guests, staff, and even the headmaster.” Nick explained.

[This is valuable information... but why didn’t Lilith know about this?]

-Perhaps Leonis and Teresa chose to spend their time with their daughter reminiscing on the good old times.-

[Yeah, and they left everything in your hands.]

-...-

Nick pulled out his academy card and offered Vincent a ride. Vincent agreed immediately, as it meant his academy card wasn’t going to be used.

Nick said, “Go Academy.” when he felt Vincent’s hand on his shoulder. Their bodies became enveloped in light, and they disappeared in the blink of an eye.

*Lusterfall Noble Academy – Arrival Hall*

One hour passed in the blink of an eye for Vincent, and Nick. After their eyes instinctively closed because of the bright light, a large hall appeared in their sight when their eyes opened again.

The large hall had a marble floor and was of high quality at a second glance as it sheened the sunlight entering from the windows. On the ceiling were multiple chandeliers with light gemstones attached to them. But they weren’t emitting light.

The walls had dozens of windows to let the sunlight light and fresh air enter the hall. Beside each window were paintings of beautiful scenery. However, there was a part of the wall with paintings of students. At a second glance, each painting had twenty-five students on it.

The hall had two doors. One was wide enough for five people to pass at the same time, while the door facing opposite to it was two-person wide.

This smaller door was guarded by four people. Two men were wearing light clothing, and a wand was attached to their waist. The other two were a man and a woman. Both had a sword attached to their waist, and a shield strapped to their back.

Vincent and Nick were at the center of the hall. The marble floor at the middle of the hall had the Lusterfall Kingdom Insignia. It was the location where everyone that teleported arrived.

[This place looks incredible, but... now that it happened twice, it isn’t a coincidence. It appears the teleporting system can also affect the Soul Domain.]

[Wolfie and Freerie are in the exact place I last saw them. I also didn’t feel any difference whatsoever.]

historical

Kazumi said. It appeared she, Wolfie, and Freerie, who resided in the Soul Domain, didn’t see or feel a difference in the one-hour-long stasis. The mysterious Asura teleportation technology was quite advanced two thousand years ago.
