Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 345

After a quick morning consult with Hatta, we departed, this time by foot, to our first hunting ground. Wolves' territory.

We talked a little with him and decided to continue this project for ten more days, and focus on three territories, to make sure most of the people will get at least one class point, and then let them earn the rest for themselves.

Clearing the woods was easy, as they could participate heavily, and we didn't have to do much. Things changed as we approached the cave, and the stream of enemies became more concentrated, but Will and others dealt with them without me having to step in.

Eventually, we ended up in the boss chamber, and Martin without saying a word approached the transforming werewolf. Beast leaped at him, trying to bite his head off, but the giant was actually faster. He swung the morgenstern, sending the werewolf flying.

Lycan hit the wall and ended up on his kneed, but Martin wasn't done. He charged, and rammed the beast again, knocking it into the stone. He then threw his weapon away, grabbed the boss by the head, and drove it into the ground. Then started punching.

He massacred the werewolf but didn't finish him off, instead, with a gesture, invited one of the newcomers. Some guy at the front reacted first and jogged towards Martin. I had no idea how that person was supposed to finish off the beast who was healing so fast.

Armored giant made sure to pean the werewolf to the ground with a leg on the chest, then picked up the morgensern.

- Here, use this - he said to the guy.

The confused man dropped his sword and tried to grab the enormous weapon, but it was simply impossible, and stupid. It fell down dragging him along and crushed the werewolf's head.

- Congratulations - said Martin with a big smile, and slapped him on the shoulder, knocking him down. - Ups...

- Not gonna lie, that was clever - said Will to me.

I agreed with a nod. Shortly after we traveled to the canyon, to continue our hunt. This time I didn't finish off the boss, just cut all the limbs and allowed one person to hack at him for a solid few minutes to achieve a kill.

Then we had a break, after which we went to the graveyard. This pattern of hunting went on for the promised time.

Although not everybody ended up having a class point, most didn't, and they promised to help those who didn't, to earn one in the easier dungeons around.

We ended up with a party at Velvet Lotus. There was karaoke with a band, dancing and lots of drinking.

I separated myself and observed everything from the mezzanine above. With a drink in my hand, and a slight smile on my lips. I felt kinda proud of what we achieved with those people.

- Drinking alone? - asked Marcella who approached me, holding a glass.

- I had enough people for a while around me...

- So you are tired? Introvert, just as I thought.

- Are you watching me? I'm that handsome? - I looked her straight in the eyes, as she came closer, to lean on the balustrade, just like I was doing.

- No. I just like to know what a guy who could wipe half of the city by himself is doing.

- Only half? That's insulting.

- Let's cut the crap, and start talking business - she sugested.

- Business?

- Well... I know how your friend badly wants to return to earth. He is not the only person. I also noticed how busy you have been lately with hunting. Do you even sleep?

- Why do you care?

- To be honest, I don't. But I have a solid reason that you are trying to open a portal to earth. I know it's possible. I also heard the stories from Uhm's.

- Yeah. I'm working on it.

- How close you are?historical

- Not sure, but I think I still have a long way to go.

She nodded and took a sip from her glass.

- I'm concerned with what will happen after we are connected - she said a moment later.

- Why?

- We have here something that can create almost, if not, anything. Upgrade human bodies, change their looks and make them do incredible things. I enjoy our freedom here, and I'm afraid we are gonna lose it if governments from the earth will get involved.

- So? You have some idea, don't you?

- Yes, I do. I want to start two things here. First is a hospital. I believe we can change the world with healing magic. People would no longer have to die from diseases if there would be enough healers.

- You want to heal the earth?

- Yes. I also want to create an intelligence agency.

- Why? We have Aisha.

- She is good for now, yes, but when the big fishes will start swimming around, do you think this place will be enough? Not to mention she like to backstab people.

- She is done with that...

- Maybe, maybe not - she shrugged her shoulders and took another sip.

- You know something?

- No. I'm just saying what I think. So, do you have your blessing?

- You need my blessing? That's something new.

- Unlike other people, I realize that you could start killing people around at any moment, and there would be nobody to stop you, so I want to stay on your good side - she winked at me.

- You have my blessing as long as you won't start working with Blue.

- Ok, I'll keep that in mind - She said, and just walked off.

- Oh! And I would like to know things! - I shouted after her.

She chuckled but didn't answer to my words. The rest of the party I spend mainly on observing the others. I noticed her talking with Daniel, and looking my way. Then I went down, to gang with my friends, before finally returning to my room in the barracks.

The period of time came to an end with 206 755 029 points remaining on my account, and 180 class points.
