Chapter 319 Fighting The Region Boss (Part 2)

The creature's outward appearance was comparable to that of a cockroach, and its exoskeleton was glossy black and gave off a metallic radiance.

The creature exuded an air of menace due to the fact that it had a total of four arms, each of which was armed with razor-sharp blades that appeared to be a natural extension of its body.

As Raydon examined the creature, his initial thought was that it possessed a formidable defense, and based on the structure of its legs, he surmised that it was also exceptionally swift. If the creature's speed is indeed its greatest asset, as Raydon hypothesized, then the four blades that are attached to the creature's arms will undoubtedly prove to be deadly weapons during combat.

"Young master, do you have a strategy in mind?" Mell respectfully approached and inquired as Raydon continued to scrutinize the region boss with an attentive gaze.

Mell and the others did not need to engage in extensive strategizing during their previous matches while they were serving Galen because they were familiar with each other's capabilities, roles, and strengths.

However, in light of the fact that they were not aware of Raydon's true strength and that Raydon was not familiar with their capabilities and item holder builds, it was absolutely necessary for them to come up with a comprehensive strategy before engaging the boss.

"Young master, if you wish, we can initiate the fight, and you can join in wherever you see fit," Nysora suggested when she noticed Raydon's silence, aware of his goal to defeat both region bosses and the limited time they had, having already spent half an hour.

She came up with this solution because she believed that talking about a detailed strategy would consume so much time. Nevertheless, she was completely unprepared for Raydon's unexpected response.

"There is no need for you to fight. Just lend me a sword," Raydon stated with a mischievous grin, extending his hand.

"What?!" Nysora exclaimed, caught off guard by Raydon's words.

'Is he planning to confront the region boss alone? ' She wondered, taken aback by his audacity.

"Just let me solo it," Raydon asserted, maintaining his confident smile as he continued, "All I need is a weapon. And if you wish to assist, you can help by locating the other region boss."

"Young master, please understand that this is a D-Rank region boss," After observing Raydon's self-assured demeanor and dogged determination, Nysora made an attempt to respectfully explain.

After seeing Raydon's strength, it was obvious that she did not have the kind of stupidity that would have led her to believe that he was merely an ordinary item holder. On the other hand, she had a very good understanding of the actual power that a D-Rank region boss possessed.

Up until this point, while they were following Galen, they had attempted to eliminate the region boss quite a few times in the matches that they took part in with all 8 battle maids, but they had never been successful, despite the fact that in a few of those attempts, they came extremely close to killing the boss.

"Not this again..." Raydon grumbled, a hint of annoyance crossing his face at Nysora's persistent caution.

He merely desired a sword, as he was currently without any weapons, and he required assistance in locating the next region boss, as his own investigative skill had proven to be ineffective. That was the maximum amount of assistance that he anticipated receiving from them.historical

However, the fact that he had to spend time trying to convince them of even the simplest of requests was starting to irritate him.

"Wait..." Nysora abruptly interjected as she saw Raydon turning around with an annoyed expression and heading towards the region boss.

'Why is he so impatient? ' She pondered, reflecting on the previous occasion when Raydon had left them behind and ventured off on his own to search for the region boss.

"I don't have a sword, but I hope these will suffice," she said, retrieving her personal long daggers from her dimensional storage and offering them to him.

"Hm?" Raydon paused and turned to observe the pair of red daggers that Nysora extended towards him, noting their solid and sharp appearance.

"Good, these will definitely do," Raydon remarked with satisfaction as he finally obtained what he desired, promptly picking up the daggers and examining them.

[Twin Daggers]

-Grade: Green

-Quality: Excellent

-Skill: Inferno Surge

After each successful attack, the daggers absorb the essence of flame, gradually accumulating power within. Once they amass 20 units of flame essence, they unleash a devastating explosion on the marked target.

The strength of the explosion varies based on the user's spirit stat.

The mana cost of the skill varies based on the user's spirit stat.

-Mana cost: 95

-Duration: 2 seconds.

-Cooldown: -

Raydon also read the skill description and concluded that it was quite good. However, since he had only borrowed the item and couldn't utilize the skill until the binding process was complete, it didn't hold much significance at the moment.

"Thanks. Don't worry, I'll return them after the match," Raydon cheerfully assured her as he resumed his stride towards the Region Boss.

'As long as you don't die, ' Nysora thought silently, observing his confident and cheerful demeanor.

"Be prepared to intervene if necessary," she instructed the others, turning to address them.

Despite the fact that Nysora was aware of Raydon's formidable strength, she continued to be of the opinion that he did not have much of a chance against the D-Rank region boss. As a result, she maintained a state of readiness to take action whenever it was required, at the very least to protect his life.

As they watched Raydon slowly approach the region's boss, everyone was in agreement with Nysora and ready to step in if something went wrong.

However, one of them seemed to be staring at him with wide eyes while standing in a state of absentmindedness.

"Mell, what's wrong?" Nysora questioned her after becoming concerned about her strange behavior and apparent disconnection from her surroundings, in addition to her slightly trembling body.

"He will use that technique," Mell muttered, her gaze fixed on Raydon without wavering.

"What are you mumbling about? What technique?" Verda inquired, intrigued by her peculiar behavior.

This time, rather than responding right away, Mell focused her attention on the daggers Raydon was holding as well as the stance he was taking. Mell understood the significance of his present actions because she had seen him use his dagger technique in the training formation.

And this time, in contrast to the training formation, Raydon would not be required to limit his stats. Additionally, instead of facing dead stones as an opponent, this time his enemy was a genuine D-Rank region boss.

"Girls, I strongly advise you to give your undivided attention to the upcoming battle. If you allow yourselves to be distracted and miss even a single detail, I assure you that you'll regret it for the rest of your lives," Mell cautioned, choosing not to elaborate further.
