Chapter 75
She couldn’t really see Xie Xinglin’s expression at this moment. From her angle, she could only see his thin, yet sturdy waist and a pair of hands hanging to the side.
Su Qiuge saw him slightly move his wrists.
Then came the sound of rustling.
Su Qiuge’s eyes widened in the darkness.
In nearly the next second, the first person to arrive through the narrow alleyway was smashed in the stomach by his fist. Su Qiuge heard the man’s painful cry before he directly fell down.
Xie Xinglin walked over and lowered his eyes to look at him, he said with a freezing smile, “Oh, there’s no surveillance....”
Immediately afterward, his face was expressionless as he pulled the corner of his lips, “Just the way I want it.”
When the other two saw this, their hearts clenched in response. They immediately rushed up together. At this moment, Su Qiuge, who had been hidden under the rack this whole time, knew her opportunity had come.
She went out from under the wooden rack and used all her strength to pull out a wooden plank from above a pile of junk. She then did not speak as she quickly and silently snuck over. Then she slammed the plank onto the person closest to her.
This one move used up all the strength in her body, and the aftershock even caused her wrists to go numb. She then noticed that the person hadn’t reacted at all and was wondering if she hadn’t used enough power when, in the next second, she heard the person let out a sound before he fell over holding his head.
Su Qiuge didn’t dare to relax her vigilance as she continued to smash him with the wooden plank.
And the last person had long since been caught by Xie Xinglin.historical
Xie Xinglin held him by the neck as he slammed him into the wall. He miserably shrieked for forgiveness.
Su Qiuge had just let out a breath of relief and turned around when she saw the person that Xie Xinglin had beaten to the ground earlier take something out of his jacket.
The item flashed a silver light in the night, reflecting itself in her eyes.
Her pupils shrank as she promptly warned Xie Xinglin, “Careful, he brought a knife!”
Almost as soon as Su Qiuge’s voice fell, that person suddenly jumped up from the ground and raised the knife to stab Xie Xinglin in the back.
Xie Xinglin immediately reacted and directly turned around.
Su Qiuge saw a cold light flashing past his right arm, and immediately afterwards, that person’s wrist was grabbed by Xie Xinglin’s left hand.
Xie Xinglin used his other hand to press onto the person’s arm. At this exact moment, Su Qiuge heard the sound of bones dislocating. That person howled in anguish and the knife in his hand instantly fell to the ground, letting out a crisp sound when it landed. Meanwhile, he also knelt down with a deathly pale complexion.
Xie Xinglin then kicked him in the stomach and the person directly slumped to the ground.
Xie Xinglin’s expression was indifferent as he lowered his eyes to watch the person rolling and wailing in pain on the ground. His whole body emanated cold air.
Su Qiuge was about to let out a sigh of relief when she suddenly caught a glimpse of a striking pool of red blood on the ground.
She was pierced by that color and her heart thumped.
Since childhood, Su Qiuge had always been very sensitive to things like blood. It wasn’t to the point where she would faint at the sight of blood, but when she saw such a scene, she would still feel a moment of suffocation, so much so that it felt like pain was spreading to her whole body. It caused her to have goosebumps all over.
She stared at Xie Xinglin’s arm in a daze.
The blood flowed from the long and narrow wound, it even followed along the smooth muscle lines of his arm as it trickled down. The moonlight here was thin and sparse, so from a distance, it resembled a cluster of gorgeous roses that were originally hidden in the bones but had pierced through the flesh.
Drip. Drop.
Drip. Drop.
His overcast complexion was a great contrast to the blood, his face pale but lips a rosy red. It was so extravagantly beautiful and flirtatious that he resembled a vampire of the night.
