Meanwhile, Lu Lijun was standing under the shower quietly as the water flowed along his perfectly toned body from head to toe. Though the water was cold, his mind was burning up with other thoughts about how he would make those suffer who caused the pain to the person he loved the most, the one who was his life. His eyes were closed and his hands were clenched in strong fists. All that anger he suppressed from showing in front of her, was coming out now and he was trying to calm himself down.
He knew once he stepped out of the bathroom, he needed to smile for her sake. Letting his angry thoughts flow along the water he stood under the water for a while more.
When he came out of the bathroom, he saw Jiang Yuyan was ready nicely and was setting up the bed that had turned into a mess due to both of them. He went to stand in front of the mirror while she saw this man wrapped in a towel walking out of the bathroom.
She averted her gaze from him and acted as if she didn’t see him. She exhaled out a little through her mouth as the sight in front of her was terribly hot.
‘This guy would be the death of me one day.’
She finished setting up the bed faster and said in a hurry, “I’ll go downstairs,” while leaving in a hurry without even letting him say anything.
Lu Lijun only looked at her through the mirror and allowed her to go as he was immersed in his own thoughts and plans.
Lu Lijun picked up his mobile and dropped the message off to two people. He got ready and went to Noah’s room.
Noah was getting ready as well when his cold looking friend entered his room.
“I saw your message. Why did you ask to get ready so early? It’s Sunday...”
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
“Come in,” Noah said and Xiao Min entered the room.
He looked at Lu Lijun, “Good Morning, Fourth Young Mater. Did you ask for me?”
Lu Lijun nodded, “Have a seat.”
Xiao Min sat in one chair while Noah was puzzled about what had happened early morning to turn his friend like – direct to business mode.
Just as Xiao Min sat, Lu Lijun asked, “In the past when my brother got to know about what happened with Yuyan when she was in the USA, he must have asked you to investigate the matter and those people.”
Xiao Ming looked at Lu Lijun in shock to think how he got to know about it as he was sure Jiang Yuyan would never tell him. “How do you know about...”
“That’s not the main concern here,” Lu Lijun interrupted him coldly, “I am waiting for the answer.”
‘Ohh, it looked like something is really serious,’ Noah thought and sat next to Lu Lijun.
“He did ask me and I got the information,” Xiao Min replied.
“Then?” Lu Lijun asked.
“Lu Qiang wished to punish them but the one was already dead while the other two had got their punishment through the law,” Xiao Min answered.
“Dead?” Lu Lijun asked as if he was not happy hearing the one was dead already.
“The one who died was the main culprit but didn’t get the punishment due to his family’s influence while the other two were forced to accept all the blame on them. Later boss herself punished him.”
“I know,” Lu Lijun said.
Xiao Min continued, “That guy died almost a month before Lu Qiang asked me to investigate. The other two he spared as they had family and little kids. He only affected their businesses by pulling out some strong treads.”
“Send me the file of the entire incident and those two who are still alive,” Lu Lijun instructed, the moment Xiao Min finished.
Xiao Min didn’t want Lu Lijun to get his hands dirty and said, “Lu Qiang was angry but he spared and now...”
“I am not my brother, Xiao Min,” Lu Lijun interrupted him, his voice was cold and his eyes full of warning.
Before Xiao Min could say a word more, Lu Lijun looked at Noah, “If I beat you at the moment and break your few ribs, how painful it will be for you?”
“Why do you want to be so cruel to me my friend?” Noah commented.
“Just answer it and let me know how shall I break it?” Lu Lijun asked again.
Noah replied, “Well, that pain will be unbearable for not just me but anyone. One can’t even breathe and it hurts like hell when you even try to. Moreover, you have to use a lot of strength to hit me as ribs are sturdy and bound by muscles. I don’t want to imagine that pain.”
Lu Lijun then looked at Xiao Min, “And she was just a kid at that time, Xiao Min. Can you imagine her pain?”
Xiao Min could say nothing more to reject what he wanted and said, “I will get the file.”
Lu Lijun nodded and Xiao Min stood up and left.
Noah looked at Lu Lijun, “What happened with President Lu?”
“You will know when he will bring the file,” Lu Lijun replied as it hurt him to say it in words. He could not imagine if he felt that bad and hurt then what she must have gone through and how she cope up with such brutality. When it happened, her small frail body, how much pain she must have felt at that time.
‘Those bastards needs to pay for what they have done to her.’
Noah observed his friend and he could see through what must go in his mind. “Seems like it’s time for some action,” Noah said as she left out a satisfied chuckle, “After so long.”
Just then Jerome arrived there, “Fourth Young Master, Martha asked you to come for breakfast.”
Lu Lijun nodded and Jerome left.
“From breakfast, I remember something,” Noah said, “I can’t wait to see your both brothers. I am sure they didn’t sleep the entire night.”
