The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 126 - Worries

Mishi returned home in the late evening when she found Xian outside her home, standing in the front of his car supporting himself from the bonnet. Mishi parked the car and then came out.

"Xian." Whispering his name Mishi went to him. Xian smiled and hugged him tightly. Mishi felt something was wrong with Xian. Caressing Xian's back she inquired from him. "What happened? Why did you come here? I mean it's too late."

"I wanted to hug you," murmured Xian and then put his forehead on Mishi's shoulder.

"You missed me?," asked Mishi curiously. Xian hummed at her. Mishi smiled and spoke. "Sorry for postponing the marriage," murmured Mishi.

Xian raised his head and then cupped Mishi's face with his one hand. Boring his intense gaze into Mishi's eyes he said, "Don't be sorry. You always wanted to go on hundreds of dates with me. Let's go today."

Mishi shook her head in acceptance but then she said, "you'll be late for the home." The frowns on Mishi's forehead were clearly showing that she was worried for Xian.

"No, we will just eat our dinner in a nearby restaurant. It's 10 minutes away," said Xian. Mishi smiled and gestured to him that they should go.

Getting into the car they arrived at the restaurant in ten minutes.

Xian ordered meals for them and they started eating. Mishi kept studying Xian's eyes as he wasn't behaving the way he should. "Is something bothering you?"?Finally Mishi inquired from him.

Xian looked at Mishi and then put the spoon on the plate. "After Yuwan's father's demise I started seeing the glimpses of the days when my father left us." Xian wanted to say this but then stopped, thinking Mishi would get worried.

Mishi was waiting for Xian's response. With a gentle smile on his lips Xian simply refused. Mishi smiled and the both continued eating. After having the dinner, Xian dropped Mishi to her house.

They were inside the car when Mishi said, "Xian, for a few days I'll be busy. Yuwan and Xia won't come to the office for a few days so I've to check many things in their places. I hope you'll understand."

"Yes, I understand. Don't stress yourself too much." Xian told Mishi and then leaned closer to her. Kissing at her forehead he said she should go in. Mishi grabbed Xian's shirt collar and said, "you don't need a goodnight kiss."

Xian smirked hearing this. "When did you become so romantic?" Asked Xian and put his hand on Mishi's hair.

"I was always romantic. Fine, if you don't need," said Mishi and left his collar when Xian pulled her. Their lips were inches away and before kissing her, Xian stated. "I badly need that."

Mishi felt something strange in Xian's voice as if he's hurt. But before Mishi could say anything Xian put his lips onto her. He started kissing her. Mishi reciprocated his kiss but soon Xian became violent. He pulled Mishi by holding her waist.

Mishi opened her eyes and put her hand on Xian's shoulder. Xian instantly stopped and put his forehead against her. "Sorry," murmured Xian, breathing heavily along with Mishi.

When their breaths became normal Mishi kissed his cheek and then looking into his eyes told him. "We promised to share our happiness and pain equally. So, don't put anything inside there." Said Mishi pointing her finger towards his heart.

Xian nodded and told her that she should go in. Mishi nodded and went inside her house. Xian then started the engine. Fixing the car's mirror he said, "I wish I could tell you but I don't want you to be in trouble. I don't want you to worry about this because I'll handle this myself." He then drove away from there.

Mishi in her room after freshening up, laid down on the bed. She was only recalling Xian's face. "After Yuwan's father's death he's behaving strangely. Is it because of his father?" Murmured Mishi when Chang knocked at the door breaking Mishi's chains of thoughts.

She sat on the bed and told him to come inside. Chang got in and sat on the bed opposite to her. "What happened to my brother?," asked Mishi.

"Nothing. I just want to talk with you," reasoned Chang. Mishi smiled and then told him to comfortably sit. The two siblings started talking with each other when Chang's phone buzzed.

Chang took the call and talked with his client. After talking for a few minutes he hung up the call. "This client case is really tough. He has been accused for a murder he never did." Mishi hearing this said, "good people are always being questioned. I know my brother will give him justice soon."

Chang nodded and told Mishi that she should sleep now. Mishi nodded and told him the same.

Mishi was tossing and turning on her bed but she couldn't get a sleep. "What is Xian hiding? Who's his father? He won't tell me because he thinks I'll be worried so I'll have to look into this myself," murmured Mishi.

She then went outside the balcony and sat on the small swing there and kept thinking about Xian.

Xian came home and saw Lau Lan was coming out of Yin's room. He went to him and asked him about her condition. "She's still the same. She considers herself as a murderer. She will soon understand her worth so don't worry." Stated Lau Lan.

"Everything is messed up in our lives," murmured Xian. Lau Lan looked at him and asked why he was worried.

"Nothing. Work pressure." Xian lied smoothly and told him that he was tired so he was going to sleep. Lau Lan nodded and they both left to their respective rooms.

Mark came out of the kitchen, bringing the water bottle and thought to go to Yin's room. Knocking at her room's door, he went in. "Mark," whispered Yin and got up from the bed.

Mark sat on the chair There and asked her how she was feeling. "How can a murderer feel?," mumbled Yin and slightly smiled.

"What are you saying? I told you many times that you aren't." Mark responded with a slight anger in his tone. "Stop calling yourself a murderer." Pleaded Mark.

"But it's the truth," murmured Yin.

Mark looked at her in disbelief. He got up from the chair and went to her. He sat in front of her and said, "you aren't. That's why you're outside the jail. You wanted to protect us but that time Bai was blackmailing you. So, you got indirectly involved in that case. Stop blaming yourself."

Yin turned her face away and said, "you are saying this because you love me. You're blinded by your one sided love. You should know that people lose their conscience when they are in one sided love."

Mark got angry hearing this. He grabbed Yin's hand and made her turn to look at him. "You think by saying this I'll put a full stop on my feelings for you. Yin, don't make me do the things I don't want to."

Both stared into each other's eyes. "What will you do? Just do one thing that way we both will be more happy. Forget about me else I'll go from here." Murmured Yin.

Mark pulled her towards him and whispered in her ear, "Why are you so stubborn? Why do you want me to forget about you?" Leaning back he searched for the answers, looking into her eyes.

Tears formed in Yin's eyes. With a broken voice she spoke. "Because a murderer.." Before Yin could complete the sentence, Mark crashed his lips onto hers, not harshly but gently. He kissed her in a gentle way. Yin never expected this from him so she tried pushing him from her other hand but Mark held her other hand too in his tight grip.

"I love you and always will," murmured Mark in between the kiss. Yin wanted him to stop but Mark didn't let her go. Soon she responded to his kiss. Mark released her grip from her hands. Tears were flowing from Mark's eyes which fell in Yin's hand. She opened her eyes and then slightly pushed him.

Parting their lips Yin whispered, "Let's don't."

Mark looked into Yin's eyes and inquired. "Why are you resisting yourself? You know yourself what I mean to you. Do you think by refuting the truths you can actually convert it into lies?"

"I'm not resisting. You know that I don't love you," murmured Yin lowering her eyes.

"Liar. Until when will you lie and keep on refuting. Okay, I've decided something. I won't do something like this with you from now on. I will see till when you will keep doing this. Till when you keep telling lies to yourself." Saying this Mark got up from the bed.

Wiping the tears from the back of his palm he said, "come to office from tomorrow. We need you. I'm asking as a professional."

Yin looked at him. "Don't think that employees will say anything. Company needs you," stated Mark and then left from there.
