Chapter 101
"Woo!!!"
The long whistle woke Diana from her sleep, and then she saw a warship that was many times larger than a small sailboat, so slowly away from herself.
"What's that?" Looking at the white smoke from the huge chimney, Diana asked curiously.
"An armored cruiser of the Mediterranean fleet, one of the important bases for the British Empire to maintain world hegemony!" Fisher explained, holding a pile of Navy food and two woolen coats.
"I met this morning. This warship can only throw us this thing because it has to patrol. However, we are almost to Gibraltar. There should be a free warship to send us!"
"Why should they obey your orders?" Looking at the canned salted beef in her hand, Diana was puzzled.
"Because of my rank, although there are as many colonels as dogs in the British army, they are at least an officer. With a little booty, these guys who wander around the sea all day will naturally agree!" Fisher took out his tin knife, opened the tin, inserted a spoon and handed it to Diana.
"Try it. English cans are not very good, but they can make do with it!"
The canned beef with heavy oil, salt and a pile of chemical raw materials didn't brighten Diana's eyes. She just tasted it hastily and then put down the can.
"You all eat such food in the army?"
"The food is already good!" Fisher sat on the barrel in the bow of the ship, biting a fork and eating, "the war that affected dozens of countries, the agriculture was destroyed, and the big soldiers on the front line were as happy as Christmas!"
"Mouse? What about civilians? "
"Civilians, let alone civilians. The farmland has been baptized again and again by artillery and poison gas. What food can be planted? The war has been fought for four years. The two sides involved in the war are now looking at who can survive. The agreement is better. The allies have no food, no drink, no resources, and no evil ways. They can't stick to it!" As he talked, Fisher directly dropped the can and analyzed the current situation in detail.
"Mankind is always repeating the same tragedy. Perhaps ares is adding fuel to the fire, but the real reason for the outbreak of this war is mankind's endless greed!"

The next afternoon
Diana was still thinking about what Fisher said yesterday when she was sent ashore by a Royal Navy communication ship.
Then she was startled by the sudden salute.
"What is this?" Subconsciously, Diana, who was about to put her hand to her back and draw her sword, pointed to the noisy onlookers on the shore and asked curiously.
"Should have come to meet me!" Fisher himself didn't think about it. He just sent a telegram to the Army Department in Gibraltar, saying that he had returned from a lost voyage. How did he become like this again.
"Lawrence of Arabia!" As soon as the trestle touched the shore, two or three bearded British generals gathered around and began to praise Fisher. Fisher, who was confused, knew that rudendorff had put himself on a reward.
"First help the Arabs win Damascus, then destroy the Ottoman military factory, hurt the German army director, and return to the team after being lost. Your experience is enough to publish a book!" A reserve general praised happily.
"This is what I should do!" What else can Fisher say? He can only boast about the wise leadership of the king and the prime minister, the fighting spirit of the army and the people, and the fact that the German second and their old emperor will be overthrown. According to the official saying, it has greatly inspired the confidence of the army and the people.
After some publicity and recognition, Fisher saw an old acquaintance appear at the dock. It was Steve with dark eyes.
"Captain, your notes!"
"I... Colonel Lawrence, your contribution to this war is unmatched!" Seeing the lost notebook, Steve looked very excited.
"I came back from Cairo and submitted a report on Dr. poison gas to the coalition command, but the generals thought I was hallucinating because of my injury. Now that you come, you can give me a witness!" With that, Steve was about to take fisher to the roadside car.
"Wait a minute, Steve!" Fisher shouted, "I need to help my friend pick out some clothes first. I'll come and testify for you about the poison gas later!"
"Ah! Well, all right! " Steve saw Diana standing behind Fisher. Because of Diana's Navy coat, he thought Diana was a model of a shipping company!!,
"OK, I'll go to fleet street to submit my notes first. I'll ask my secretary to pick you up later!"
"That man looks very eager. Is there anything important?" Diana looked curiously at the noisy dock.
"Yes, we have to go later, so we have to change your clothes. After all, our leaders here don't like people to go to meetings wearing armor and carrying swords and shields!"
After stopping a passer-by and asking about the women's clothing store in London, Fisher took Diana straight to the clothing store.
When Diana was picking clothes, Fisher suddenly felt that someone was staring at him, so he pretended to look back and found that there were seven or eight more young men outside the clothing store. These guys were neither in a hurry nor waiting for friends. Several guys had bulging waists and knew they were carrying guys at a glance.
"Hello, is there a back door in this shop?" Fisher also guessed the origin of those people outside the door. It was nothing more than German spies lurking in Britain to avenge rudendorff.
"How about this dress?" Diana, who chose a gray windbreaker and trousers, walked out of the fitting room. If she ignored the other party's sword and shield, Fisher would think that the other party was a gentle female scholar.
"Yes, it's better to wear a pair of glasses!" After confirming that Diana liked it, Fisher put the jewelry he brought from Prince Fisher and took Diana out of the back door.
"Why should we go this way!"
"Your ass has a tail. You have to solve it first!" Fisher looked back, and the guys hurried up.
"Do you want to fight? Are you a bad man?" Diana, who found a big box to put her sword and shield, was a little excited.
"No, I'll teach you how we fight here!" Fisher pulled out two pistols under his windbreaker and pulled Diana into an alley.
"Bang Bang..." less than 30 seconds after the German spy followed in the rear, there was a burst of rapid gunfire in the alley.
