Any Zhu clan member who activated their elemental roots is allowed to take one absorption mantra and three auxiliary techniques of human grade from the techniques pavilion; For offence, defence and movement techniques.

When he thought about auxiliary techniques, he also recalled they are separated into Human grade, Earth grade, Sky grade and Heaven grade techniques and each grade is further divided into low, middle, high and peak tier techniques in respective grades.

The Zhu clan emblem only allow up to three scrolls to open and the array inside it locks the emblem from opening anymore scrolls.

He took more than half a day to go through introduction of many scrolls. After going through them, he understood some important aspects about the auxiliary techniques.

The Blazing flame technique he is practising is a low tier human grade technique. But after he changed it, it became a middle tier human grade and close to high tier human grade technique. He deduced apart from using Qi through certain channels, you need utilisation of the technique to improve any technique, which is what he did. But, he also figured he is missing few more things he needed to improve his techniques further, or else his technique would have already reached high or peak tier human grade. He is not sure what he is missing but he decided to analyse the techniques he choose to understand it.

He also found long range attack methods lose power. According to the information provided, cultivators in body purification absorb the Qi in heaven and Earth and use their body as a medium to attack. So when you release the Qi like throwing a spear or use it as an arrow, as soon as it leave your body the Qi starts to dissolve into the atmosphere again and loose its power.

But, when he used long distance attack like using fireballs or when he threw a spear, even though they did damage the demon beasts, it was not deadly.

Finally for offensive technique, he decided to pick a sword technique. He used different weapons using fire Qi and he believed sword fit him best to fight. But he now has to decide between water element sword technique and metal element sword technique. When it comes to metal element, it is direct and sharp, where as when it comes to water element, it is flexible and swift.

He contemplated and decided to get the water elemental sword technique because with his current strength, what he needs is not a direct attack technique but a flexible attack technique which can surprise his enemies. He finally picked a sword technique named Flowing Moon sword technique. All the scrolls he chose were peak tier human grade technique. He recorded the scrolls, put it away safely and exited the technique pavilion.

He shocked to find there were a group of six people standing facing the pavilion a distance away and many more people around nearby looking towards his direction.

Zhu Xuan moved fast and took a hold of Zhu Kong and held him tight before he steady himself or move away.

He removed the sword from his waist and asked with a cold tone "Zhu Kong, do you know what your name means?"

Zhu Kong was really scared at this moment. How could Zhu Xuan be this strong?

But before he could say anything, Zhu Xuan continued with a cold tone "It means void and emptiness. So no one's going to miss you when you leave this world."

As he said that he swung his sword. Zhu Li who was standing a little away ran towards them to save Zhu Kong and shouted "Stop"

But before he could move few steps, the sword sliced through Zhu Kong's neck and his head fell on the floor. Zhu Li stopped in shock and anger.

Zhu Xuan with a bloodied sword and blood all over his body, looked around at all the people in the area with a look of disdain.

His eyes stopped at Zhu Li and he asked with a cold tone "Do you still think I'm a coward?"
