He sheathed his sword and walked away and only a cold voice was heard from the distance "Don't think you can do whatever you want just because you have some backing in the clan. Keep yourself in check or next time this won't be the end."

Zhu Li felt the numerous gaze around him and felt humiliated and lost all respect among his clansmen. He gritted his teeth and vowed to himself "I will cut you to pieces and feed you to dogs Zhu Xuan."

Whereas, others who came to see the commotion had complicated emotions, and wondered what made such drastic changes in Zhu Xuan, who used to be a timid guy in the past.

Zhu Xuan didn't care what happened outside the technique pavilion after he left. He walked to his courtyard, cleaned himself up, changed and left the Zhu clan.

He went into the slums after leaving the middle wall. He found an alley where there was no one and changed himself to how he looked when he was with Bai Ling and Bai Wuji and moved towards the middle gate of Bai clan.

He asked around and found where the Bai clan restaurant, and when he reached he saw two people standing in front of the restaurant. Bai Wuji standing there with a serene look and kind smile, and Bai Ling who was standing next to him in a beautiful purple dress and her hair was flowing in the wind with an excited look on her face. When she looked at Zhu Xuan, a beautiful smile blossomed on her face and she looked like a goddess.

Zhu Xuan was dazed when he looked at her; she looked even more beautiful than when they were travelling together. Bai Ling blushed when she saw Zhu Xuan gazing at her. Looking at her blushing, he felt even more entranced. But quickly he came back to his senses and walked to them with an embarrassed smile.

He cupped his hands and greeted "Nice to meet you again Senior Wuji, Bai Ling. I hope you haven't been waiting for long. It took me a while to find the restaurant."

Bai Wuji also cupped his hand and said "Nice to meet you too Young master Shen. We just arrived few moments ago."

Bai Ling also replied quickly in a timid voice "Not at all Young master Shen. We only arrived just now and we are happy to wait for you."

Bai Wuji standing next to her niece couldn't help but smile wryly. His niece is acting completely different when she is in front of this young man. He calmed down and said "Let's go inside and talk."

The three of them walked inside the restaurant and moved directly to the VIP room in the third floor. They entered, sat down and ordered food. Bai Wuji and Zhu Xuan exchanged the blood Linghzi and gold coins by the time the food arrived. As soon as the food arrived, he started eating voraciously.

Looking at Zhu Xuan eating like a kid found his favourite food, she giggled and teasingly said "Eat slowly Young master Shen. You are eating like you haven't had food in days."

Zhu Xuan stopped eating and gave an embarrassing smile and then said sincerely "Hmm. You are right Bai Ling. I have been busy with some work and haven't ate or slept in four days."

Bai Ling got worried immediately as she heard that and said with concern "You shouldn't over work Young master Shen, you should rest and eat properly."

Zhu Xuan looked at her concerned face and felt grateful. He assured her and said confidently "Don't worry Bai Ling. I'm fine, not sleeping and eating for four days is not a big deal for me with my current strength. I just need little rest and I will be fine."

After his assurance, she relaxed but then thought of something and asked with complicated emotion "Young master Shen, Will you be leaving to Snowcape Demon Mountain after this?"

She wanted to spend more time with him but also didn't want him to interfere in his training.

Zhu Xuan replied slowly "No, I have to go purchase some materials after this in Qinglu Treasures pavilion and then I will go rest, and will only leave only tomorrow morning."

Bai Ling felt sad after hearing that he had to leave tomorrow and she was not sure when she will be able to meet him again.

Bai Wuji who was sitting on the side felt awkward for a while now. He felt like a third wheel and he was completely ignored by the other two. They both gave an embarrassed smile when they realised they ignored Bai Wuji all this time and was chatting happily. Bai Ling couldn't help but look back at Zhu Xuan with a look of excitement and anticipation when she heard her uncle's suggestion.

Zhu Xuan wanted to reject the offer, but looking at the eager face of Bai Ling he couldn't reject. He smiled and said "Of course Senior, that would be great."

It is not that Zhu Xuan didn't like her. He liked her and like spending time with her, but his sister's betrayal left a scar in his heart and this stopped him from getting close to Bai Ling.

Bai Ling smiled happily when Zhu Xuan agreed. When Bai Wuji got up to leave, Zhu Xuan also got up, cupped his hands and respectfully said "Thank you Senior. I will see you again soon."

Bai Wuji also cupped his hand, greeted him and left. After he left, Zhu Xuan and Bai Ling sat down and ate slowly. They talked about a lot of things; important and miscellaneous things and enjoyed each others company. After finished eating, they got up to leave the restaurant to go to the Qinglu treasure pavilion.

But when they got out of the restaurant, they saw a group of people, lead by a handsome young man blocking their path.

Zhu Xuan looked at the group of eight people standing in front of him and wondered "What is it this time?"

Whereas, when Bai Ling saw the group in front blocking their way, her smile faded away.
