Will-o-wisp contained its shock and shouted "Zhu Xuan, stop absorbing the Qi."

Zhu Xuan stopped absorbing the Qi and opened his eyes. He seemed to be in pain. He opened his eyes and asked "Senior, What is happening? Why am I absorbing so much Qi? I can't control the rate of absorption."

Will-o-wisp heaved a sigh of relief and replied calmly, "It's because you are absorbing the Qi through all your meridian channels. Cultivators need absorption mantra to guide your Qi through specific channels and purify their body. Your body is already significantly damaged due to the body's predecessor practising without activating elemental roots and tried to absorb Qi. If you had continued absorbing at this rate, you body would have exploded."

Zhu Xuan was scared witless. Thankfully Will-o-wisp reminded him on time, or else it would have been a disaster.

He searched his memory and found that every cultivator need an absorption mantra, and techniques related to their elemental roots to practice in body purification stage. This body's previous owner knows this, yet he was desperate to cultivate and practices an absorption mantra anyway to improve himself. Even though he reached second stage of body purification stage, his body suffered significant damage.

Zhu Xuan was still confused as to why he absorbed so much of Qi as soon as he activated his elemental roots. This helps them to identify their specific elemental roots based on which elemental Qi they are absorbing and chose a mantra. But he have never heard of anyone damaging their body severely, much less exploding from absorbing Qi.

Realising what Zhu Xuan was confused about, Will-o-wisp explained in detail "You would have heard about different classes of elemental roots. They are differentiated from First to Ninth Class; Generally first three classes are categorised as common elemental roots such as water, earth and fire elemental roots."

Zhu Xuan remembered his second brother activated a rare Lighting elemental root which was ranked fifth among the elemental Root class.

Will-o-wisp continued, "Then there are rare elemental roots which is ranked from fourth to sixth class such as Lightning, Ice, Light, Darkness elemental roots, which are found in one in a million cultivators. They are considered as genius and born to be leaders of the country."

"Then there are heaven born geniuses, born one in hundred million, who activates seventh to ninth rank elemental roots such as Space, Time, Yin-Yang elemental roots. They are considered as people who rule over the world."

Will-o-wisp paused and continued "You activated Seven Phases elemental Roots. Though its only seventh rank, it is unique in its own way. It contains seven elements in its roots. So you can absorb seven type of Elemental Qi and your cultivation growth will be exponential, compared to other cultivators of the same age."

Zhu Xuan was ecstatic when he heard its explanation "He awakened seventh class elemental root which is much more rare than Second brother's fifth class lightning elemental root. Now he will have a stand in this world if he cultivated diligently and get stronger."

He couldn't help but feel proud of himself for awakening a rare elemental root.

Will-o-wisp looked at his smug face and retorted, "Don't be too proud of yourself. It's true that you have a rare elemental root, but it is almost impossible to find an absorption mantra for it. Moreover, when it comes to resources for your cultivation, you will need to obtain resources for all your elements related to your elemental roots to practice. So, you will need to acquire lots of resources if you want to progress in your cultivation fast."

Zhu Xuan felt like cold water was splashed in his face. He calmed himself down and asked, "Then what do I do Senior?" Without an absorption mantra, he has the risk of absorbing too much Qi into his body and damaging himself.

Will-o-wisp replied calmly, "Don't worry, I have a mantra which is suitable for you to practice, which brings us to your second reward."

Zhu Xuan let of a sigh of relief and looked at Will-o-wisp with anticipation.

Will-o-wisp continued "This mantra is called Nine Phases Traversing Absorption Mantra. It was a mantra created by my Master for his direct successor. Even though you haven't activated Nine phases elemental roots, and only Seven Phases, this is the most apt absorption technique for you in the system."

Zhu Xuan felt grateful to Will-o-wisp when it explained that even though he haven't activated Nine phases elemental roots, it still gave him the mantra. He bowed to Will-o-wisp "Thank you Senior."

He straightened up and asked curiously, "Who is Master, Senior? He must be a very powerful cultivator to create Origin system."

He knows the master of the Origin system is powerful beyond imagination. Creating such a system, collecting so many cultivation techniques, resources he can guess that much. God knows how many cultivators obtained Origin system before him and thinking of how much they would have obtained from the system, he felt astonished.

Will-o-wisp looked at his eyes and said "You will know when the time comes. Now calm yourself down and accept the mantra."

Zhu Xuan grumbled and thought to himself "You leave too many questions unanswered Senior"

It ignored his thoughts, extended its spiritual Qi towards Zhu Xuan's mind and transferred the mantra to him. When he read through the introduction of mantra, he couldn't help but be astonished "What a profound mantra."

"Of course it is, it was created by my Master after all" replied Will-o-wisp with a proud voice evident in its tone. For the Will-o-wisp, there is nothing higher than its Master. He is the god in its eyes.

"Okay, the third reward is an auxiliary technique necessary for all cultivators. Choose one of the techniques among these scrolls." As it said that, tens of scrolls appeared in front of Zhu Xuan.

He slowly went through the scrolls and found there are various movement techniques, weapon techniques, palm techniques among the scrolls.

He went through them slowly when he found a scroll which is different from other techniques. It was called body transformation technique. In the introduction, it is mentioned that the cultivator who successfully practice this technique can change his bone and muscle structure to turn into a different person.

Zhu Xuan started thinking. He can find movement techniques and weapon techniques in Qinglu city. There are numerous techniques available in Martial pavilion, though they are not as powerful as the techniques found here, he can still acquire these kinds of auxiliary techniques. But, he was sure this body transformation technique is rare, and he won't be able to acquire this kind of rare auxiliary technique in the outside world. And even if he did, he need an astronomical amount of gold to buy it.

Moreover, he was sure things are going to get crazy for him, and he will have a hard time when he returns to Qinglu city. Even if his second brother will not act against him directly, there are also few brothers and sisters of his who support his second brother to be the successor of the clan. They will definitely cause trouble for him to curry favour with his second brother.

This body transformation technique is perfect for him in his current predicament. He can assume as someone else and develop himself without any trouble and without arousing suspicion. This is also a good escape method for him if he was ever chased, he can turn into someone else and through his enemies off.

He was firm on his decision once he thought things through. He said "Senior, I will choose this Body transformation technique. This suits me the best for me in my current situation."

Will-o-wisp looked at him with appreciation. He is calm and collected, and thought through his advantages and disadvantages and chose a method that suits him best.

All the scrolls except the technique Zhu Xuan choose disappeared; Will-o-wisp simply said "Good choice."
