Zhu Xuan moved fast towards them while shouting to be saved.

When he crossed half the distance, Earth Demon Horses also rushed out of the forest. Everyone looked at him weirdly not sure what face they should make. They wondered why did this guy go and piss off a herd of Qi gathering stage, with his just body purification stage strength.

Zhu Xuan closed in towards them while getting ready to face the attack anytime.

Meng Haoran was facing the direction of Zhu Xuan and frowned. He didn't expect a nobody would be chased by these many Qi gathering stage Earth demon horses and he will run towards them bringing them trouble.

He got angry because of this interference because this might create a chance for Wu Qian Ren to escape.

He immediately signaled for a subordinate to attack Zhu Xuan and he turned to attack Wu Qian Ren so that he won't escape.

Meng Xiaofeng ran towards him brandishing his spear, and when he neared Zhu Xuan he used a piercing move straight at his face. The movement was fast with his wind element, but when it was about to reach Zhu Xuan, he tripped and fell down avoiding the spear which created a whoosh sound above his head.

At least that was what Meng Xiaofeng thought, but the next moment his falling was stopped and he formed a sword in a second and pushed it to his abdomen. Zhu Xuan didn't stop his step; his lowered body moved up, crossed him like a breeze while dissipating the Qi sword.

Blood started pouring out and Meng Xiaofeng fell down clutching his abdomen in shock, and Zhu Xuan started sprinting towards Meng Haoran with full speed.

Meng Haoran looked back in horror; Meng Xiaofeng was a Qi gathering middle stage cultivator but he was defeated in one attack. He came to the conclusion that the person was probably at his stage or close to it and immediately put his guard against him.

No one can blame Meng Haoran; he was engaging Wu Qian Ren and didn't see what happened behind him until the guy fell in defeat. One could only blame Meng Xiaofeng for being arrogant and careless for not even putting a Qi guard around his body thinking the opponent is just an ant at body purification stage.

Even Zhu Xuan who is rushing towards Meng Haoran didn't expect the other person would be so careless, it went smooth for him and he already got close to Meng Haoran which increased the success of his plan.

Meng Haoran looked back to found him teammates died and the one attacked was Wu Qing and Wu Yong. The situation turned suddenly and now his team was left with only three members while the enemy's strength increased to seven members. He understand they planned this from the very beginning and was counter ambushed. He shouted for his teammates to defend, and turned again towards Wu Qian Ren's side to battle the group which is going to attack from his front.

But when he turned, he watched in horror as Wu Qian Ren rushing towards him while swallowing a Qi replenishing pill, and he realized he made a very grave mistake chasing them.
