Wu Qian Ren recovered his full power immediately and attacked Meng Haoran.

Meng Haoran couldn't do anything but defend while the remaining team members are getting injured. They also spent lot of Qi during attacking the formation and Meng Haoran even took a Qi replenishing pill when attacking the formation after exhausting his energy. Even though they took some Qi recovery pills later to recover their Qi. it's nothing compared to Qi replenishing pill.

Qi recover pill helps a cultivator to absorb the elemental Qi in the atmosphere faster, whereas Qi replenishing pill contains pure Qi and immediately required the Qi of anyone below Qi sea stage completely.

At the moment another member of his team died under the combined attacks leaving only him and Wen Xin; Meng Haoran realized if this continued they will definitely be killed and look. He immediately shouted "We surrender Wu Qian Ren. Please stop the attack."

Wu Qian Ren stopped his attack when he heard Meng Haoran's submission.

Wu Qian Ren turned towards Zhu Xuan and asked "Brother Zhu Xuan, what do you think we should do?"

Wu Qian Ren's stance against Zhu Xuan changed for indifference to respect, after this fight.

First Zhu Xuan asked Wu Qing and Wu Yong dug a hole at this place and instructed them to hide themselves inside the hole completely suppressing their aura and breadth when they hear his shout to Save himself. Then when they hear his shout of Attack, they shout immediately attack.

Second, he lured the herd of Earth Demon horses to the place of fighting so that he can rescue Wu Qian Ren and his team, and at the same time he can split up the enemy's team.

Even though it was a risky move, he proceeded with the plan with one belief; it is based on the fact that the enemies would underestimate him because of his cultivation level. What he didn't expect though was Meng Xiaoping underestimating him way too much and getting defeated in a single move, and Meng Haoran overthinking that Zhu Xuan hid his actual cultivation which made the rescue easier. The rest of the plan went smooth and they are defeated easily.

Wu Qian Ren saw how decisive, clever and ruthless Zhu Xuan was and felt nothing but respect for him and asked his opinion because without him none of them would be alive.

Meng Haoran also looked at Zhu Xuan, but with anger and clenched his fists tightly. If looks could kill, Zhu Xuan would have died a million times by now. Zhu Xuan looked at Meng Haoran's bloodshot eyes and angry face and just smirked.

Even though Zhu Xuan wanted to kill him, he was just here to help them as repayment because they provided information about the academy and he was able to cross the peak of Snowcape Demon Mountain easily because of them. He didn't want to involve with any internal issues in the academy or the noble families.

So he just waited for Wu Qian Ren to make the final decision and simply said "It's upto you, I don't want to involve in this any further."

Wu Qian Ren understood Zhu Xuan's meaning and was about to speak, when three people rushed towards them from the distance.

Everyone turned towards them and say it was Meng Xiaofeng how was defeated by Zhu Xuan earlier and the other two Meng Haoran left behind to divert the Earth Demon horses.

Wu Yong and Wu Qing got ready to face them and the others also looked at the incoming three getting ready to attack.

Meng Haoran thought this was his chance and lunged towards Wu Yong who was facing the other side.

Everyone else was distracted by the sudden appearance of the three, but Zhu Xuan and Wu Qian Ren was observing Meng Haoran. Zhu Xuan shouted "Wu Yong, behind you" and Wu Qian Ren attacked the moment Meng Haoran moved to attack Wu Yong.

Meng Haoran turned around and defended the attack Of Wu Qian Ren while getting pushed back towards Wu Yong. Wu Yong was distracted by the sudden changes on the both sides and before he could react, Meng Haoran used a fist attack and hit Wu Yong.

Wu Qing also tried to attack but Wu Yong flew away with the attack and Meng Haoran rushed out fast.

He reached to his three teammates and they retreated immediately. Wu Qian Ren and the his team chased after them, leaving only Zhu Xuan who put a blade on Wen Xin' neck and Wu Shi Yun who went to check on Wu Yong.

Few minutes passed and Wu Qian Ren and the rest came back with a grim face. Zhu Xuan realized Meng Haoran must have escaped and asked what happened.

Wu Qian Ren replied with a serious face "We didn't expect him to have another Qi replenishing pill with him. He even used one his team members to slow us down and the other two escaped."

Wu Qian Ren was worried Meng Haoran will return to the academy before them and make their team as the villain killing his team. Soon he calmed down and stopped his worries realizing now was not the time for worrying about those issues.

Zhu Xuan didn't say anything and simply nodded.

He then used his healing technique to heal everyone of their injuries.

After healing everyone and rested, he came to Wu Qian Ren who was discussing something with Wu Qing and Wu Shi Yun and said "Young master Qian Ren, I need to talk to you"

Wu Qian Ren laughed inside with amusement and thought "When we were fighting you acted like our leader and now you are acting all respectful again.

But he didn't show it outside and put on a serious face and said "What Young master? I consider you as my brother and I hope you see me as your brother too."

Wu Qing and Wu Shi Yun also smiled after hearing Wu Qian Ren.

Zhu Xuan just smiled and said "Alright. Brother Qian Ren, actually I came to say goodbye. I need to return To Caifu city."

Wu Qing's smile disappeared and she looked sad when she heard he was leaving. Only Wu Qian Ren noticed it, but didn't say anything.

He put on a serious face and asked Zhu Xuan "Actually Brother Shen, Do you have to return immediately? I'm worried that Meng Haoran and Meng Xiaofeng might attack you if you leave now. There is a high chance of that happening so why don't you also join us to explore the ruins and leave after?"

Truthfully, Zhu Xuan was also interested in the ruins he read about it in books and actually wanted to enter, but not sure if it is a good idea to go with them considering his situation especially when he is not sure what they have to go through within the ruins.

Looking at him slightly hesitating, Wu Qing blurted out "Join us Bother Shen, it will be dangerous travelling alone and also if you are with us we will feel safer and more confident."

Zhu Xuan looked at her stunned. He didn't expect she would have such a high opinion of him.

Wu Qian Ren and Wu Shi Yun also looked at her with a smile and not a smile. Seeing all three looking at her, Wu Qing face became red, she looked down in embarrassment.

Zhu Xuan just shook his head looking at her acting this way and then agreed to go with them.

Everyone rested for few hours to replenish their energy, and moved towards Ruins.

The entrance for the Ruin was actually hidden well inside an inconspicuous cave; Even Wu Qian Ren and his team spent six days to find the entrance.

Zhu Xuan entered the cave and saw a stone door.

Wu Qian Ren took out the map and took it in front of the door. The map started floating and a lots shaped light came out of the map and entered the stone door.

The stone door made a sound and opened slowly. Everyone entered the ruins with an amazed Zhu Xuan.
