30 Nightly Visi
Farsian was sleeping well that night. He didn't even hear the footsteps that slowly approached his bed untill it was to late. When he opened his eyes there was a masked face in front of him, he could look the other person deep into the eyes. What happened? He asked himself over and over again unable to make sense of it all. How did this person enter his room? Farsian looked around and noticed a small knife at his throat. He inwardly loughed at his aggressor for being so careless, even if this knive stabbed him he wouldn't die immediately. Farsian would have enough time to capture or kill the other person no matter what happened next.
But Farsian didn't realize that the weapon was special and was on top of that coated in some scary stuff that would even harm the old vampires that had lived for thousands of years. The other person apparently was a professional that knew what he was doing.
"Don't scream and don't move." The misterious person slowly said. His dagger was still firmly held on Farsians neck.
Farsians eyes started to glow red as he whispered "Obey me mortal!", but the other person only lightly shrugged with its arms before resuming its calm.
"Your mind games won't work on me." But as he said this he realized that Farsian had vanished in the split second that the other person was unconcious.
The hunter became the prey, no matter how he looked around he wasn't able to find Farsian in this dark room, what happened? He wondered, could it be that his informant had lied to him? The vampire should only be able to use mind magic and on top of that only the weakest one. It shouldn't be a problem for such a seasoned veteran, but just in case he even drank a potion that raised his resistances against such magic.
How could he have guessed that the vampire would vanish in the next second? He looked around once more.
"Did he escape through the window?" He wondered aloud. But the next second he knew that he was wrong.

Farsian had this feeling, an eerie feeling. Somehow there seemed to be danger for him, even though a blade shouldn't be able to kill him like this. Perhaps if he lost his head? Farsian looked at the blade once more.
"Don't scream and don't move." The other side said to him in a hushed voice. It seemed to be a man for sure, that meant that most of the people that could enter his room were out of the question. A bad premonition was starting to grow inside of him, it had to be an professional or else there wouldn't be such a strong reaction from his instincts.
"Obey me mortal!" He whispered as he used his ability on the assailant. It wouldn't work that much was clear but he didn't intend for it to work, all it had to do was buy him some time. Enough time for him to cast his lesser invisibility.
Darkness cloaked him, he wasn't actually invisible but with the room being allready very dark in the night he was able to escape that mortals detection.
Farsian carefully slipped away into the darkness, when he was sure that he was save he waited and decided to look how things would go now.
"Did he escape through the window?" Farsian heard the assailant say, and started to rapidly think about what to do now. Time seemed to slow down as he made a decision for himself, he couldn't let an attacker go like that.
He sneaked behind the masked person and carefully placed a dagger on their neck, there would be no escaping from the vigilance of a vampire that sneaked up on you succesfully. The other person was stiff in shock, unable to react correctly now that they had become the hunted.
"Who are you?" Farsian asked the man that was standing in front of him as his dagger slowly ached closer to the mans neck.
"Fuck, I didn't know you had that ability. If I knew you wouldn't have escaped so easely. As for who I am..." The man vanished from the spot and appeared near the window that was wide open in the next second.
"Let's just say that you will find out soon enough." The man dropped out of the window with a wild laughter. As Farsian arrived next to the window there was allready no trace of that person exept the laughter that was still in the air.
*Boom!
The door burst open and a beautifull young girl was standing in front of the now wide open double door. Farsian turned around in shock suspecting it to be another assassin that was after his life, but as soon as he turned around he started relaxing. It was Joelle who heard the commotion and came to help out!
"What happened?! I heard mad laughter and saw someone jump down from your room!" Joelle was anxious as she scanned the room for further uninvited guests.
"Relax, that mad man is allready long gone. I don't know how he got here but he almost got me this time, I could feel the danger that his blade was emitting, it was scary. Almost like it was made to kill our kind!" Farsian exclaimed as he tried to relax still somewhat tense from the nightly visit.
"Damn, that's not good! We have to hurry to the island, who knows if that guy comes back?"
"Do you think he will be unable to chase me there?" Farsian asked full of contempt. An assassin that was able to sneak up to a vampire and threaten him for his life would surely be able to get on an isle right?
"I don't know but I can ask the teachers there to give you some protection, out here were on our own though."
Farsian sat down on the bed and could feel the spell that was attached to it calm him down. As soon as he calmed down completly he looked at Joelle and nodded. If things were left as they are now it would be insanity to expect something to change, that assassin would return to kill him for sure. So he might as well go to that isle, and besides there were plenty of other vampires so the assassin might not target him next time. Anyways he still hadn't received a notification that a ship would sail soon so he could only wait for now.
As Farsian was sitting on his bed and was collecting his thoughts he realized that he had forgotten something! He had totaly forgotten to look for the rest of his companions, if the assassin would go after them they would have no chance to escape.
"Quick we need to check on Helena and the rest!" Farsian said as he stood up and went to the door.
