Contracted Bride Is Trapped By Her Husband

Chapter 118 - Eliza Flew Into a Fury

Chapter 118 Eliza Flew Into a Fury

Her drenched clothes stuck to her body, making her feel suffocated.

Jocelyn tore off her clothes and raised her head, allowing the cold water to hit her face.

She picked up the bath ball from the bathroom and rubbed it on her exposed skin after getting some water.

After Jocelyn violently rubed her skin, there were red marks on her snow-white skin. However, she went on rubbing as if she did not feel any pain, as if this could get rid of the smell Aren had left on her skin.

Jocelyn didn’t lock the bedroom door, so Eliza entered without permisison.

She listened to the sound of water running in the bathroom. Eliza did not know if she was hallucinating, but she seemed to have heard Jocelyn sobbing quietly.

This made Eliza worry for Jocelyn. She walked to the bathroom door and knocked.

“Jocelyn, how are you feeling right now?” Eliza’s worried voice made Jocelyn cover her mouth tightly to prevent the sound of crying from being heard.

“I’m alright, Eliza.” Jocelyn took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before answering Eliza.

“I’m very happy to hear that you’re alright, but if you need anything, please come to me immediately.”

“I will always be your backup.”

Eliza’s comforting words were like the sun in the sky, instantly warming Jocelyn’s cold body. “Thank you, Eliza. It’s good to have you.”

“I’m very happy to have you too, darling. I’ll wait for you outside. Let’s look at the contents of the flash drive.”

Eliza’s words reminded Jocelyn that now was not the time to be sad.

She picked up a towel and wiped her body. After wrapping her hair that was still dry, Jocelyn opened the bathroom door.

Eliza’s eyes were immediately drawn to the red marks Jocelyn’s body. She did not know what had happened between Jocelyn and Aren to make Jocelyn react so strongly.

Eliza couldn’t believe that Jocelyn actually hurt herself in the bathroom. If she hadn’t said anything in time, Eliza really couldn’t imagine what Jocelyn would have done to herself.

This time, her arm was red, but what about the next time? Would she cut herself or burn it?

Eliza turned pale at what she imagined.

Jocelyn noticed Eliza’s reaction. She carefully placed her hands behind her back to block Eliza from looking at her. She then found a long-sleeved shirt from her suitcase and put it

on.

Jocelyn bit her lower lip nervously. She didn’t want Eliza to continue asking her questions, because she had not thought about how to tell Eliza about it.

This was not a good memory for Jocelyn.

Fortunately, what Jocelyn was worried about didn’t happen. As if she hadn’t seen anything, Eliza grabbed the laptop and plugged in the flash drive.

She opened the file on the flash drive and the content instantly popped out.

Looking at the words written on it, Jocelyn and Eliza looked angry.

Jocelyn was fine because she already knew that Maria exposed and slandered her for sleeping with a man on the Internet.

However, she did not expect that Maria would actually expose her personal information online, making her contact information known by the entire Internet, and even inciting unknown netizens to humiliate her.

Overwhelmed by this amount of information at one go, Eliza blushed in anger.

If Jocelyn hadn’t stopped her in time, she probably would have rushed to the Wilson family and beaten the mother and daughter up.

“I knew that the mother and daughter weren’t good people, but I didn’t expect them to be so vicious.”

“No, I can’t let this matter go just like that. Otherwise, I won’t be able to take it lying down. I must teach the two of them a lesson and let them know that you’re not to be trifled with.”

As Eliza spoke, she wanted to stand up and rush out, but Jocelyn hugged her and dragged her back to the bed.

“Jocelyn, don’t tell me you still want to protect them after what they have done to you.”

“If you still plan to cover up for them this time, we’re no longer friends. Don’t look for me if anything happens to you in the future!”
