7 Chapter 7 - Marc Rizen’s plo
Amenophis was absolutely furious, and Casino Riot could feel it through his soul. The dragon shadow grew chaotic and indistinct. Even his blood that had finally fallen under control begin to boil once more. This wasn't something Casino was willing to allow, so he quickly tried to pacify the enraged dragon shadow. However, after the shadow finally calmed down, Casino's next question riled it back up.
"You know my step-father?" Asked Casino Riot. He immediately get the rage return to Amenophis.
"Step-father, hmph! That slimy abyssal thinks he can't get away with perjury and kidnapping." Amenophis was completely dismissive of the title, "I have seen your memories through your soul. This filth is far more disgusting then I could have imagined. If your father knew half of this he would likely return from the grave early. It is disgusting to think that Marc Rizen is the reason your father was plotted against, and ultimately destroyed! And poor Kiya..how truly sad for my brother. How truly unfortunate. No, it is time you learned of the truth."
Amenophis' following words blew Casino's head wide open. The shadow's description of Marc Rizen could only be described as bleak. From what Amenophis knew Marc was the leader of the most nefarious underworld army in a place called the Dark Tyrant's Star System, and the nephew of King of the Abyssals, whatever that meant. At any rate, these maniacal killers were said he have a range of abilities on a level that Casino simply couldn't fathom. The shadow's ramblings sounded largely like gibberish to him. However, he managed to comprehend that the world he lived in was within the Kemet Mystic Star System.
Of course, Casino didn't know what a star system was exactly.
Marc Rizen apparently had been in competition for the crown of his race, and was thus tasked with recovering information about some top secret experiment, and then replicating it. The leading scientist on the top secret project was none other than Meno Riot! Under the guise of magical researcher Alphonse Bazaar, Marc Rizen infiltrated the team and was there for years under a false identity before Meno's intelligence agents caught wind of it. Alphonse Bazaar had already worked his way into the core experimental team, and became sworn brothers with Meno Riot.
One could only say that his acting skills were top notch.
Once Meno discovered the truth, he immediately took actions against Marc. However, by then Marc had already successfully stolen all the data he needed and escaped. On the very next day, there was an audit performed on the laboratory that resulting in Meno being arrested by some super organization called Punishment Isle. He was accused of sabotaging the experiment and labeled as the enemy of the two super powers who were sponsoring the project.
His wife and Casino's mother, Kiya Riot, was someone closely involved with the experiment and was to be put to death since the experiment could no longer be trusted. She was forced to flee and escape with a close friend and her father. However, who would have imaged that this close friend would turn out to be Marc Rizen!
However, after Meno discovered this new information, he was attacked in jail! Someone among the assailers managed to seal Amenophis, who remained sealed for five years. Five years later he was awoken by the Meno Riot who had escaped incarceration and improved his competence dramatically! However, he was severely injured! It seemed he paid a great price for this new strength.
They searched for Kiya for two years, but when they finally found her Marc Rizen discovered them! After a fierce exchange Meno Riot was fatally wounded, and escaped to a random city far away from Marc Rizen. However, it was on that same day he felt a weak bloodline connection within range.
That was the day he found Casino.
"I do not have all of the details as of now," said Amenophis slowly, having calmed down a great deal after his long story, "Do to me sealing many things remain unclear. However, that Marc Rizen certainly has something plotted against your mother. This man is a scourge to our family, a total menace! He has fooled your mother completely. His devious means know no bounds. You must be cautious around this man. You must be careful. I kept you asleep for a year for precisely this reason. I could not allow your bloodline to awaken in his presence. That would only spell your death."
Casino Riot was quiet for a long time as he sorted out this information he had received. Then he compared this knowledge with the information he had learned first hand. He concluded that he should believe the dragon shadow's side of the story. He had always been aware that his step-father hated him, and he wasn't even very nice to Casino's older sister Meri. He didn't find it difficult to imagine this man was capable of such evils.
"Listen closely, Casino Riot. You are not some trash. You are not a waste. You are also not a being with average talent. If anything, your talent could only be described as incredible. You are a Draconian, a member of my Divine Dragon clan! Divine Draconian's have a much harder time filling up their energy. However, this is only because the energy within your body is easily ten times that of a human. You're mother is also only half human, and yet you still managed to inherit a sacred bone from her. Once that Sacred Bone is active, your bloodline will likely transform. You have a longer lifespan than these humans, and you possess divine blood!" Amenophis voice felt like it was thundering all throughout Casino's body, "I will require some time before I am able to speak with you again. The enchantment on this space will fade in 48 hours from now. It is best you return to school."
"Wait, Grandmaster Amen!" Casino Riot called out hastily, "What about my friends? When will they wake up? Do you know how do we can get out of here? How am I supposed to explain my sudden increase in strength?"
"They will awaken in a couple of hours. You should speak with them at that time, for the situation is different from how you think. Tell the one coming to touch the wall. Trust in your friends, all of your friends, and be safe," as Amenophis finished speaking his voice and presence begin to fade until it was virtually nonexistent. Casino, at the very least, was unable to detect the dragon shadow at all. Casino pondered over the shadow's parting words as he heard a sudden crash landing.
Thud.
"Ouch! This is hardly beneficial to my noble bearings," grumbled Antonio Bazaar as he rubbed his rear. "Eh? What happened to these three? AH! Could it be that all three of them received the sacred blessing this year?"
"Actually..it could be considered the final blessing." Casino Riot stood up slowly and dusted himself off, before walking over to Antonio. He wasn't surprised at this friend's sudden arrival, as Amenophis had mentioned that someone was coming. He was wary towards Tony, but he remembered the old shadow's words from before 'Trust all of your friends'. Amenophis could only be talking about these four youths in front of him. Who else could he truly consider a friend in this Nibiru City? "We've all received our final blessing. You should touch the wall."
Casino Riot pointed to the wall behind him with his thumb.
Tony's eyes lit up as he hopped right over to the wall. However, once he was in front of it he hesitated to place his hand on the wall. He was a bit wary towards Casino Riot after seeing him slaughter two guys. This guy whom he had always considered trash was a real murderer now! He had to change his personal evaluation of this scary existence that defied common sense.
Trash?
Waste?
If Casino Riot was a piece of trash, then who was he, Antonio Bazaar, who had just been thrashed by the very person Casino slaughtered. The difference between the two of them was obvious. Of course, once Tony thought up to here he realized the Casino simply wouldn't need to trick him, he could just attack directly. Thus, Tony decided to touch the wall.
A fist size beam of light shot out of the wall and into Tony's glabella. He fell unconscious shortly afterwards. Casino stood by the side observing patiently. Inwardly he was trying to decide on his next course of action. The city had been taken over by a street gang, only the middle sector could be considered safe. After all, the school's were all in this district, Silver Mercury didn't dare to antagonize the schools. Now only that, the leaders of Silver Mercury and many of the gang's members even had children enrolled in one of the schools!
It seemed he could only return to Thoth High. However, would he be forced to repeat a year now?
"Ah!" Casino Riot slapped his own forehead. How could he have forgotten so quickly? "I've already reached mid-sixth level of the Hard Body realm. Progressing to the next year should be no problem, now!"
Originally, Casino had already decided to roam around for awhile after he got kicked out of school, but now it seemed that his year of a coma had turned into a sudden windfall! He simply didn't need to drop out at all.
"I'll wait for them to wake up, and then we'll get Bravo's people to pick us up from down the street. Wait.." Casino Riot glanced down at the unconscious Maggie. He suddenly felt a bit of resistance towards associating with Bravo's people. Why were those goons after Maggie in the first place? He suddenly realized that he hadn't fully grasped his current circumstances. Casino shrugged his shoulders, and sat down in the lotus position, as he begin to refine more origin energy into his mystic origin. Unfortunately, this practice seemed to yield an even smaller then one year ago. Casino furrowed his brow in frustration. "I guess now that I'm at the sixth level, advancing in this way will be near impossible. Ugh. Well, I'll have to wait for them to wake up at any rate."
Time passed by swiftly, and six hours later there were five teenagers crossing the bridge that separated the inner sector from the middle sector.
"So the whole city is currently under martial law?" Casino Riot was currently dressed in all white robes. His previous low cut was gone, and his long wavy hair was hanging down to his shoulders. Margot Frenzy walked shoulder to shoulder with him explaining the state of the city. She had changed into an elegant silver dress that hugged her curvy body. Casino was inwardly shocked, as he was a lot taller than Maggie before they went into a coma. What's more, he was pretty sure he had also grown! Still, Maggie and himself were currently the same height. Not only that, but she was twice as hot!
Casino found it a little difficult to talk to her normally. After all, he was just a teenage boy virgin. He truly had no idea how to react to his body's new reaction towards Maggie.
"You can call it that. These punks pulled off a successful coupe, the mayor is on the run, and the State Government have washed their hands of the issue," said Maggie with a frown on her pretty face. She spoke in a slow and deliberate way, and possessed a uniquely graceful bearing, "Might makes right. They don't care who's in charge, as long as the school's are not being harassed, and the town is still producing income and experts. It's the era we live in I guess.."
"So you guys want me to believe that those goons were trying to kidnap Maggie because some dog shit young master took a fancy to her?" Casino Riot felt his blood begin to boil as his anger increased, so he swiftly calmed himself down. "We almost died over this? Their so lawless?"
"It's definitely reached an extreme! While you two were asleep in took all our effort just to keep anyone from discovering you. We were so worried you would starve, but Tony was able to get us some vital origin from the hospital," said Capital Blacc. Being hooked up to vital origin was like being placed on IV for the new era! Vital origin was able to sustain the body of a warrior indefinitely, and it also slowly healed the body from the root.
"Vital origin!" Casino's eyes flashed with the light of understanding. He smiled at Tony and nodded in acknowledgement, "Thank you, Tony."
"But of course," said Antonio Bazaar matter-of-factly. He was wearing a blue poncho. "We may not always get along, but I would still not want to see something happen to you."
"Well, I can forgive you just this once," said Maggie dryly. She was heavily disappointed in Tony for not giving his all during the fight. She was clearer than anyone how strong Tony was! He took every opportunity to show it off to her, after all.
Tony scratched his nose in embarrassment, but he didn't reply. He felt he had taken the most logical course of action. What's the point of all of them being thrashed? Who would go for help then? He was merely being a responsible friend.
"Forget it," Bravo Frenzy, who was walking at the front of the group, suddenly turned his head back to comment, "I know your temperament well. I do not believe you would have abandoned us, especially not Maggie. However, the next time you avoid a fight, you'll be fighting me right after!"
"Come on, guys," Tony smiled wryly, and he indeed felt rather low. How was he supposed to know Lucky would wake up as a god? "I am sorry. One of us needed to stay awake, you know."
It took Bravo, Maggie, and Capp three hours to awaken. An hour after that Tony had awoken as well. They all seemed to have some new harvest that they wanted to spend time comprehending. However, did they have the time for this? Casino prioritized that they had to get to safety first! After hearing the details of his experience, the others immediately agreed. Casino had told them everything but the part about him being a Divine Draconian. After all, he didn't even know what those were.
A dragon?
That he could recognize.
A draconian?
Casino truly had no idea what this would look like.
"Halt! None of you move!"
As soon as Bravo and the gang stepped off the bridge, they heard an aggressive voice shout them down. They all frowned, then turn to face the one calling out. There was a tough looking young man was tattoos on his neck and face marching right up to them. Once he arrived 3 meters away, he pulled a spear out from behind him, and assumed his battle stance. Casino instantly sent out a formless wave of spirit power to probe this young man's cultivation.
Sixth level of the Hard Body realm!
This was nothing to the current Casino, he could take out this punk with one finger.
"What school do you brats belong too? Fair warning, if we discover your lying then you're a dead man!" said the young man aggressively.
Capital Blacc stepped forward before Bravo could react angrily, "We go to school with your mother. You should talk to her, she's always begging to enroll in my classes."
Pfft.
Casino and friends all laughed when the heard Capital's quip. The young man with the spear grimaced, and shouted in fury, "Identify yourselves now, or suffer my spear!"
"Oh no, we're so scared," whined Maggie sarcastically.
The young man lost it at that moment, catching the others slightly of guard as he stabbed out with his spear in a beautiful motion, "Bitch, be silent and eat my pole! Flood Dragon's Roar!"
Tink.
To Margot's abject horror, the tip of the spear was mere inches from her face, when it suddenly stilled. Maggie fell backwards on her bum, only to see a scene that was burned directly into her heart. Standing tall at the side of her previous location, holding the spear tip between two fingers was none other than Casino Riot!
"Now that wasn't very nice, right? That's not how you treat a lady, I think."
