These late 3 days have been quiet, not many fights. But I've trained my pokemon every day, even if they have not to level up, I know that their EV have increased.

Today we are not training, we are going to leave the forest so I don't want them to be tired. After we eat breakfast I did return them to their pokeballs and called Pikachu to climb to my shoulder.

Red: "Its time to move on Pikachu. To Pewter City, where our first gym battle awaits."

Misty: "YES! we finally are leaving this awful place. I can't want to eat some real food."

Red: "I told you that we were to stay in this forest for a few days and you did prefer to follow us."

Misty: "If I had known that you were crazy I would have left you time ago."

I started to walk away with Pikachu.

Red: "Talk with her it gives me headaches, we better hurry up, Pikachu."

Misty: "Hmph"

Let's see. My better choices against Brock are Rattata and Mankey.

Rattata already can use Iron Tail, that should be enough to defeat Geodude. Mankey will take care of Onix, Low Kick works better against heavier pokemon.

Misty: "Hey Red, there is some weird samurai in the way."

The samurai? the one with Pinsir?

He started to walk towards me.

Samurai "Greetings, I am addressing to the pokemon trainer that come from Pallet Town?"

Red: "do I look like a bug catcher for you?"

He started to unsheath his sword, I stop it by holding his wrist.

Red: "That is not very nice. I don't like petty thieves" I narrowed my eyes at him.

Misty: "What do you think you're doing?! "

Samurai: "I'm not a pokemon thief! I am a samurai. I've been searching the forest for you."

Red: "You should have stayed in a place and I would have found you early, but it doesn't matter. You want to fight or what?"

Samurai: "Don't underestimate me, I am invincible in combat. Let's show him, Pinsir"

Red: "You are not the first that say that. Come, Karna!"

A Pinsir is no joke, they are stronger. Back in the show, Ash defeats it with a Metapod. I could just change titles and make that but that will crush my dignity. Karna will not be fighting against Brock, a fight against this Pinsir could help him to improve.

I did expand my aura to talk easily with Karna.

'Don't let him got close, use your fire. Burn him to ashes.'

'Charmander chaar'

Red: "Are you ready?"

Samurai: "I born ready. Pinsir, use Tackle!"

Red: "Dodge and use Ember."

'Chaar'

Samurai: "Endure it, Pinsir. Use Takle again".

Pinsir got burned.

Red: "Keep dodging Karna, don't let him get close."

Samurai: "Stop running away, and fight like a man!" He tried to provoke me.

Red: "That's enough Karna, use Ember again and end this."

'Charmander'

He did whip his tail again, throwing fire at Pinsir. He could do nothing against the fire and faint.

Red: "There it went your Pinsir and you so-called invisibility."

Samurai: "This has not ended! Go! Metapod!"

Seriously? A Metapod against my Charmander?

'Char?' See? even Karna think that he is an idiot.

Red: "Karna, just use Ember again."

'Charmander chaar'

'METAPOOOD'

Samurai: "Nooo! Meetapod!"

Red: "Well, I hope to see you again when I come back to Pallet Town" I tap his shoulder as I walked forward to Pewter City. I looked at Misty.

Red: "Let's go, at this rhythm, we will get there before sunset."

She walked along with me while looking back at the samurai.

Red: "Don't tell me you did fall for him?" I said with a smirk

Misty: "Of course not! I just feel bad for him. His pokemon looked stronger than that."

Red: "Yeah, that Pinsir is strong. Its a shame that his trainer is an idiot."

Misty: "You don't have to be so mean."

Red: "Karna was little weaker than Pinsir, but that Pinsir just knew Tackle. He never got a chance. If he was a good trainer, he should have been prepared to fight against Fire-type and Flying-type pokemon. Had Pinsir know Smack Down or Rock Tomb, he could have won easily.

I did turn around to see Misty's eyes.

Red: "Water-type pokemon are weak against Grass-type, but they could learn Ice-type moves and fight them even."

She looked at me before blushing and starting to walk faster without saying nothing.

'Pika pi?' He looked at me.

Red: "Don't ask me... let's just hurry up."

Misty: "Pewter City, at last!"

Red: "Looks great. Did you have something to do now? I'll be going to the Pokemon Center."

Misty: "huh? M-me too. We can leave our pokemon with Nurse Joy and going out to eat."

Red: "Sure. You don't have any problem with that Pikachu?"

'Pikachu'

I did see Flint in our way to the city, he is hiding from Brock. I don't need his help to win, so I suppose that I just going to expose him. Brock has the talent to become an amazing pokemon breeder, but he could not do that if just stay here. Flint, on the other hand, just need to wait in the gym and his wife will come back someday.

Misty: "Pokemon center is on this way."

This one is not big like the one in Viridian City, but the red roof is the same. We walked into the building.

Nurse Joy: "Welcome to the Pokemon Center. Shall we heal your pokemon?"

Red: "That would be nice. Thanks" I take all my pokeballs and did give them to her.

"Pikachu also need a checkup."

'pika pika'

Nurse Joy: "Of course. Come with me Pikachu." She did smiles at Pikachu.

I walked to Misty.

Red: "Well, you know some nice place to eat?"

Misty: "Just a family restaurant that is near here."

Red: "Ok, lead the way."

She smiled and started to walk.

Misty: "So, when are planning to go to the Pewter Gym?"

Red: "Tomorrow at morning will be fine, my pokemon will enjoy rest."

Misty: "Do you have something in mind? I can help you if you ask me to."

I smirk.

Red: "Thanks, but I have a plan and faith in my pokemon. You should come to see them."

Misty: "I'll be there."

After that, we went the eat something and come back to pick up my pokemon again.

Nurse Joy: "Sorry for the wait, your pokemon are in very good condition."

'Pikachu'

Red: "Thanks, Nurse Joy. Do you know if there is any nice place to sleep?

Her face turns thoughtful for a few seconds...

Nurse Joy: "There is one near here, going toward the east. They don't have many clients."

Red: "Ok. Come Pikachu is time to sleep."

'Piiikaa'

Misty: "Let's go, I will love sleep in a bed for a night. We can go half and half with the costs."

Red: "Fine, I'm falling asleep already."

I turned around and said goodbye to Nurse Joy before leaving.
