46 Summoners are op Part 1
Ark transformed his sword into a bow and counted his arrows.
"One, two... twelve. Damn, why do I constantly waste money when I know I should save it?"
Ark glared at his bow... or sword?
"I have a glutton wolf and a glutton transformer."
The bow let out a hum.
"Don't you sass me, keep that attitude up and I'll make sure that you will be fed with a strict scrap metal diet."
The bow immediately shut up.
Ark snarled.
"I don't even have any spare daggers, god dam."
The bow morphed into a dagger.
"I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A MAGICAL SWORD THAT CAN BECOME A DAGGER! I NEED DAGGERS! YOU UNDERSTAND? DAGGERS! NOT A DAGGER BUT DAGGERS!"
The dagger morphed into a bunch of daggers.
"I-I-I have no complaints... can you also turn into a bow while leaving behind 5 daggers?"
The dagger complied.
"...At least you're useful unlike a certain wolf."
The wolf growled while the puppy went to the bathroom on the floor.
"Ah, not there... that's my side of the room, go to that side."
The pup shook its head up and down as if it understood and then proceeded to hop on James's bed and pee.
"Good girl, I'll cook you something to eat later. Okay?"
"Woof."
The big wolf let out a cry.
"You can hunt for yourself. You are an adult aren't you?"
Seeing the sorrowful face of the wolf, Ark let out a sigh.
"Fine, I'll cook you whatever you catch today. Lets just go hunting."
Ark was about to leave when he heard a furious stomping noise from outside the door. The door opened with a loud bang and a tired James came panting in.
"Y-you... son... of... a..."
"Oh, you arrived quicker than I thought you would."
"No... thanks... to you."
"Well, since I'm already done packing up, I'll head down first. You can catch up later."
"Okay."
Ark quickly left the room with his loyal dogs and fled like criminals escaping the scene.
Ark had made it outside when he could vaguely hear a loud scream coming from within the dorm.
"Ahh, he must have discovered your gift pup."
"Woof."
"Make sure to do it constantly from now on, ok?"
"Woof!"
Nodding in satisfaction, Ark started to jog towards the Danger Zone.
————————————————————
Ark yawned.
"I wonder when that lady killer sword boy is going to arrive."
Ark was sitting comfortably on top of his favorite tree branch with a small cute baby wolf sleeping on his lap.
"Hey Ark, may I please pet her?"
"Ah, only you can Olivia. The puppy seems to like your touch."
"That's not fair, you should let me touch her too."
"The pup will start to develop aphephobia if I let you touch her."
"Are you saying I'm not gentle?"
"Basically."
"You want to die?"
"Kali, you almost strangled her last time, it's not me who doesn't like you, it's her."
As if to prove my point, when Kali tried to sneakily pet the little pup, it let out a cry of pure terror.
"I would think that having the life element would make you more sociable to animals but I guess that's not the case."
"...why does she hate me?"
Ark ignored the mumbles of Kali and waved at the DZ manager.
"Hello sir, it's good weather we're having today. Perfect for hunting. Is there any new news?"
"It sure is a good day. And yes, there is some new news. Firstly, it is wood rabbit breeding season so there's a lot of them running around. A goblin village was built somewhere to the far north, so be careful of that. There's at least one rank 3 hob goblin there, or should I say silver rank. Dam that sounds like we're playing some rpg."
"Thank you sir."
"No problem. Most kids don't even care about what's going on in the DZ. If they had half of your brain, we would have a lot less casualties and injuries."
"Hahaha, thanks."
Ark glance upwards.
"Can you not stare at me like that? I feel like I'm going to die at any moment."
"Tch."
Hanabi appeared from the tree branch right above me.
"... how did you notice me? I have a higher rank than you so how?"
Ark snorted.
"What do you mean higher rank? We're both at bronze. The only difference is that you are at peak bronze and I'm at mid bronze. And I also noticed you because you didn't control your breathing. Stealth eliminates prescience but not sound and aura. It will work on inexperienced people like James but not on experts. Even then, unless you have unparalleled skill in stealth, you aren't completely invisible. And you need to be mindful of your shadow and the indentations you make on the floor."
Hanabi tilted her head.
"How do you do that?"
"Well, you come from the Nagato clan don't you? You can ask them how to, they probably have some skills you can learn relating to this manner."
"... how do you know so much about the art of stealth when you are just a marksman?"
"Ahahaha... um... the best archer is a hidden one?"
"Hmm... seems legit."
Hanabi turned away from Ark and disappeared once more. However, Ark could still hear her breathing. Listening to Hanabi trying her best to quiet her heart made Ark smile.
Suddenly, Ark herd a frantic yelp and quickly grabbed the bow on his shoulder and locked his legs on the branch before sliding off of the branch until he was upside down. He knocked an arrow and drew the bow to the maximum before finally taking a glance at what had made the sound.
Ark froze before letting out a sigh.
Kali had gotten the pup.
"Dam, that scared me."
"You sure move like an assassin too..."
"WHA-"
Surprised, Ark lost his grip on the branch and fell off, only managing to land on his feet by twisting his body quickly.
"Even your reflexes are like an assassin..."
"...Please don't scare me like that, I could've died."
"But you didn't."
THIS GIRL.
"HEY GUYS, I'M HERE SO LETS GO NOW."
James had arrived, finally.
