Code Collector

200 Battalion of Serratas

A couple of hours had passed, and Allen was still sitting by Lewis's grave. He was watching the skies, smiling sadly as tears continued to flow from his eyes.

"I wish I could go back," Allen said. "I wish everything didn't end up like this. I don't.."

He reminisced the time when they were only new Hunters. Life was hard back then and money was tough, but they were happy. He never would've imagined that with one incident, everything would change.

"Allen?" Selena called for his name. She sat beside him and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I used to do this to you. Do you remember?"

"You're like the younger sister I never had," Allen chuckled. "I don't think I can ever forget those times."

"Lewis always wanted to take care of you too," Selena said. "Do you know that?"

"The incident made my memories fail," Allen confessed. "I remember things differently, but after I saw Lewis die right in front of me, I remembered everything clearly."

"That's because those memories were always inside you," Selena said. "We're right over there if you're ready to go, Allen."

Selena leaned closer and kissed Allen on his cheek. She then ruffled his hair and walked away, leaving Allen with the silence once again.

The boy reviewed the Codes he got from Lewis. There was a Celestum that he never got the chance to view.

\u003cAmethyst Axe\u003e

Type: Weapon

Grade: Divine (Evolvable)

Damage: 750

Allen paused after reading the description. The weapon was a Divine grade, yet it can still evolve. Maybe if he level it enough, it can reach Celestia soon. He continued to read the description of the weapon.

Effect/s: (1) Amethyst Rain - Active - When activated, the user shall cast a rain of amethyst shards in an area dealing 150% of total Damage. 30 seconds cooldown.

(2) Passive - When an enemy has been hit by more than 5 shards, the target will receive 200% of the weapon's base damage.

(3) ???

(4) ???

Allen was curious as to why the effects were still almost complete when this Code was passed on from at least two generations. The Diamond Sword that Gary got only had three effects left after the generation penalty, but this one still had four.

Allen was curious, but he let his curiosity slide for now. The sooner they take down Roger Huntsman, the sooner it will be for them to fight with the Zodiac, then the Celestial Boss.

"Alright," Allen stood. He tapped his back to clear of the dirt and smiled at Lewis's grave. "Lewis, guide us in our battles, okay?"

"Allen!" Jeremy called out. "Let's go. I bet Sebastian is looking for us."

With one last glance of his friend's grave, Allen left the forest and went back to the camp. The area where they fought the Serratas and cloaked figures were part of a smaller dimension which mimicked the area, so there was no damage to the camp.

Meanwhile, Sebastian contacted them to go to police station to help interrogate the cloaked figures who were caught by them.

"By the way," Jeremy said to Selena. "How did you enter the dimension?"

"We just passed through," Selena answered simply. "We didn't try for the first day because Sebastian said it was impossible. But when the third day came, we tried to get inside and we were able to pass through."

"So the shield only prevented Sebastian and the others to enter?" Allen asked, making Selena shrug.

"Maybe? I actually don't know," she replied. "But one thing is for sure. The ones who were after you specifically targeted you guys, as if they were carefully selecting which to fight."

"Now we will know what their true intentions are," Allen said. "Let's go inside."

Three men were tied with a thick layer of chains. They were held on a chair with only their heads free from the restraints. The rest of their body was sealed.

"Good, you're here," Sebastian sighed in relief after seeing Elliot and the rest enter the room. "Come here and help me get the truth from these guys. They don't seem to answer well."

"Who ordered you to attack us?" Bernard tried to ask the three men, but two of them only stared at him while the other was staring at him.

"After this, we will promise your safety," Remy said. "We will make sure that you live even if you told us everything."

"You couldn't even prevent Roger Huntsman from killing Drake and Louis ," one of the men chuckled. He was the first one to get caught. "How can you ensure our safety when you can't even protect your own?"

The Hunters were silent for a moment. Bernard cleared his throat and gently placed his hands on the desk in front of him. "Just answer us and we can be finished with this."

"They will come," the second man said. "They will come for us and kill us soon. They might even kill you too if they're in the mood."

"The people you sent weren't that strong," Bernard said. "Why do you think we would be scared?"

"We're just trash," the first man answered again. "From Roger Huntsman's henchmen, we have the lowest and weakest powers. Lewis Nixon was not though since he was the leader, but apart from that, we're just nothing."

"Then can you at least explain why you are affiliated with the Serratas?" Bernard asked. "At least answer this question so we can proceed with the investigation."

"He can control them," the man who was sleeping woke up and said. "He can order them random things like kill themselves or shoot something from a distance. Roger Huntsman is a powerful man."

"We know he's strong," Bernard sighed. "But what is his identity?"

"He's–"

The ground shook for a second and everyone looked at each other. The shaking was normal, like it was created by something.

"He's here," the first attacker said. "Roger Huntsman is here."

The wall of the room exploded and several Serratas entered. From there, there was nothing but havoc.
