The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 106 - The Truth- Part 1

Mishi was preparing breakfast when Lau Lan came into the kitchen for water. "Good morning, Mishi." Saying this Lau went to the fridge and took out the water bottle.

"Morning!!" Wished Mishi and started washing veggies. Lau Lan supported himself from the wall there and drank the water. Closing the bottle, he spoke to Mishi.

"I'm happy that you've given him a chance." Mishi turned to him after hearing this. She put the veggies in the basket there and put them beside the gas stove. Taking a deep breath she said, "I know I hurted him a lot. I thought I could live without him but everyday I used to think about him. I did build a wall around myself because earlier he unknowingly hurted me but then I never trusted him or should I say I want to but I was afraid somewhere."

"Hmm. Well, Xian hurted you a lot but when you left him that day, he suffered every second and every single day. Now I'm happy that everything has become normal. Forgive me for being rude to you earlier," mumbled Lau Lan and scrunched his nose.

"Ahh, it's fine. You are like my brother so you can say to me anything because I know you care for me," murmured Mishi with a smile on her lips.

She then took out the veggies from the basket and started cutting them. Lan Zhan came there and smiled seeing them. "How was your date, Mishi?," asked Lan Zhan and saw the water bottle in Lau's hand. He took the bottle from him and drank the water.

"It was good," mumbled Mishi.

"Wait, is that a ring???" Muttered Lan Zhan under his breath and went near her. Mishi nodded. "Omg! Mishi has got the proposal of marriage from Xian," mumbled Lan Zhan and smiled. Lau too smiled hearing this.

"So, when are you two marrying?," asked Mark who also came inside with a smile on his lips.

Mishi laughed and said, "We have not decided yet. Go out now because I have to prepare breakfast and then I've to leave for the office." Mishi glared at them. The trio laughed and walked out from there.

In an hour she prepared breakfast and set the table. All got seated there and she started serving them breakfast. "Mishi, they can take the food themselves. Just serve me," mumbled Xian holding her arm.

"Xian, leave my arm," murmured Mishi and glared at him. Xian silently put back his hand. After serving them all they started eating while talking with each other. Xian held Mishi's left hand. Mishi turned her gaze to him.

He clasped his fingers with hers and started eating with his left hand. Mishi tried releasing her hand but he didn't let it go. In the entire breakfast he was holding Mishi's hand. Mark, Lan Zhan and Lau Lan left early for their respective workplace while Mishi and Xian were still there.

Mishi after washing the dishes went to her room and quickly got ready. She was wearing the blazer when Xian hugged her from behind. "Xian, I'm getting late," murmured Mishi.

"I'll drop you there. Let me embrace you like this for a while," mumbled Xian. Mishi didn't say anything and they both remained in that position for a few minutes. When he released her Mishi turned to him, looking into his eyes. She touched his face and caressed it for sometime while both were looking into each other's eyes which were full of love.

"Let's go. We can't get late for work," mumbled Mishi. Xian nodded and they both left the house. After dropping Mishi to TMS, Xian left for Maximus.

Xian was working in his office when Li Wei pushed the glass door and came inside. Xian smiled seeing him. "You look happy these days, " murmured Li Wei and passed him a smile. "Well, Mr Yaixi is coming to meet you," mumbled Li Wei.

Xian raised his head from the screen and asked him why. "Well, he didn't tell me the reason. He will be here in five minutes." Li Wei told Xian to which he nodded.

"Did you tell Mishi about this?," asked Li Wei. Xian looked at him and shook his head in refusal. "Tell her about this. It will be hard for her but then she must know the truth." Li Wei advised Xian.

"Bai is her best friend. What do you expect when Mishi will come to know that her best friend was behind all these," mumbled Xian with a worried look.

"Yes, it will hurt her but then she must know the truth of her parents death and all the things that happened with her," murmured Li Wei. Xian nodded and clasped his fingers together.

"Xian, there's a baby shower ceremony me and my wife are throwing. I want you and Mishi to come there," mumbled Li Wei. Xian smiled hearing this and asked him about the date. "It's tomorrow," replied Li Wei. Xian told him that they would come when the office door slightly pushed and a figure appeared. It was Yaixi Xin.

Li Wei left the office and told Xian that he's sending the tea. Xian slightly bowed his head in respect before Yaixi and told him to take a seat. The both sat on the sofa there.

"Sir, you should've called me," said Xian with a smile.

"I was nearby so thought to meet you," mumbles Yaixi when the peon came there and put teas before them and left.

Yaixi sipped the tea and started speaking. "I want them to come home," requested Yaixi. Xian nodded and told him that he hadn't told Mishi and her siblings the truth so it would take time.

"It's fine. I know they will get hurt after knowing the truth. On this Saturday there's the eighth death anniversary of them so before that tell them." Yaixi put stress on his words. Xian assured him and told him that he shouldn't worry now about this.

After talking for a few more minutes Yaixi left from there while Xian started pacing in his office. He looked at the time which was showing lunch hours. He grabbed the car keys from the desk and left for TMS.

After the meeting got over Mishi came to her office room. As she pushed the door, she saw Xian there on the sofa. She smiled and asked him if he was missing her, that he couldn't wait for the evening.

Xian smiled hearing her and got up from the sofa. "I've something important to talk with you. Let's go home," mumbled Xian. Mishi smiled and put her phone there. "What is it? Tell me," mumbled Mishi shooting herself from the edge of the desk.

"I can tell you this only at our home," mumbled Xian. "I've two meetings to attend," murmured Mishi and walked towards her chair when Xian held her hand gently. "It's urgent," muttered Xian. Mishi turned to Xian to look into his eyes. She then picked her things up and they left for the house.

Xian took her in his room and made her sit on the bed. He sat beside her and held her hands. "What happened Xian?," asked Mishi.

"Mishi, do you remember when was the first time I started showing care towards you?," asked Xian.

"When you stood for me the day Bai came to your office," answered Mishi. Xian shook his head in refusal. "It was even before that incident," mumbled Xian.

"When?," asked Mishi.

"The second time I came to your house when I hurted you," replied Xian. Mishi recalled that time and her eyes filled with tears. "Sorry, I made you recall that time," murmured Xian.

"But that time we both used to hate each other," mumbled Mishi and looked into Xian's eyes. "I know but then that day made me feel guilty. I saw your parents' photo frame. Mishi, I know I hid this from you for a very long time but now I think you must know." Xian was affirmed in his voice.

"I know your father. He was like my mentor. When I started my business, he was the first one who invested in my business and taught me many things. A businessman never shares his secret techniques with anyone. But he did the opposite. I never thought that you're his daughter," mumbled Xian and smiled. Mishi's eyes filled with tears but she wiped them off.

"I got the news of his demise and I attended the ceremony too. That was our first encounter when I bowed before you but your head was lowered that time so I wasn't able to see your face. The day you told me that your uncle was behind their killing I was suspicious that's why I searched about your parents' murder. Mishi, your uncle wasn't the one who killed your father. It was someone else," mumbled Xian.

Mishi put her palm on her mouth after hearing this. The tears which she had held started pouring down like rain from her eyes. With a trembled voice she asked, "Who?"

"Lui Lan and Bai Lao," mumbled Xian with teary eyes.
